The Planets Are Aligned (Original)

Chapter Seventeen: Attack of the Planetoids

     Jupiter created another lightning bolt in his other hand and decided to use them like blades. Jupiter was entering this battle blindly, since he was not familiar with how to fight like a true warrior. However, it was not going to bring Jupiter down. He slashed at two Helioids using the lightning-blades he created and kicked them down. Neptunus was able to grab a hold of one of the Helioids' tails, since she was unaffected by fire, and throw it into a group of Helioids.
     "Neptunus!" Jupiter called out to her as he sliced at another Helioid. "Help get the other Planetoids out, too!" She nodded as she jumped over a Helioid. One Helioid charged at Jupiter and bit into his leg. Jupiter reacted quickly by zapping it with his electrical powers. He moved his hand in a motion that would toss the Helioid with his electric power.
     Meanwhile, Neptunus shaped water into the shape of a spear and she lunged it at another tank, and it oozed with the green liquid, and out came Eris. She landed on her hands and knees and Neptunus helped her up. "Come on! Help us!" Three Helioids charged at the ladies and Eris reached out somewhere for something. What she had pulled towards her was a steel bar. Eris shrugged and started spinning the bar rapidly.
     "Neptunus, right?" Eris shouted. "Throw water at this bar! Quick!" Neptunus threw bits of water at the spinning, steel bar and water flew rapidly at the Helioids in all directions. The Helioids were hit by the water, and mist started coming off of them as they screeched in pain.
     "Let's get some more Planetoids out!" Neptunus ordered Eris as they ran up to the tanks. They were starting to break Saturnus, Mercurius, and Pluto free. Jupiter was still attacking Helioids using lightning bolts and throwing them at the Helioids. As Jupiter was fighting, he saw in the corner of his eye that Asis was running out of the room and going somewhere else. He wanted to go after her, but he was getting clawed at by Helioids.
     "Ugh!" Mercurius fell out of the tank and fell onto Eris. "Thank you!" Neptunus broke Saturnus out of the tank and carefully got him out.
     "No problem!" Eris looked over at Neptunus. "I'm going to try and get these guys to somewhere safer! Hey, Pluto, think you can stay with Neptunus to fight?" He nodded silently and stood by Neptunus. Eris took Mercurius and Saturnus and ran off with them through a steel door inside the room. Helioids approached Pluto and Neptunus closely.
     "Give me something," Pluto said quietly to Neptunus as she searched the room. She used water to silently bring another steel bar to Pluto. He grabbed it and charged at the Helioids quickly. He whacked the steel bar violently at the heads of the Helioids. One Helioid hopped on top of him and clawed at his back. Pluto retaliated by hitting the Helioid on the back with the steel bar. He dragged it away and threw it into other Helioids.
     "Nice!" Neptunus complimented him and headed back to the tanks. "Watch my back!" Pluto stayed behind Neptunus as she tried breaking out Uranus. She bashed roughly on the tank using a hammer made of water until it collapsed and Uranus fell out. Neptunus caught her as Uranus regained consciousness.
     "Mom?" She looked up at Neptunus. She grinned softly and shook her head as she got Uranus to her feet. She got frightened by the Helioids and turned invisible. The Helioids instantly became confused as they looked around for Uranus.
     "We need to get the rest of the Planetoids free," Neptunus went to the next tank, Venus'. "Come on!"

     Jupiter fended off more Helioids using his lightning blades. He ripped through the Helioids with them and managed to get away from them. He ran towards Neptunus, Pluto, Uranus, and now, Venus. Venus was very dizzy. She could just barely see Jupiter.
     "Jupiter!" Venus reached out to him. "You're back! I'm so happy to see you!" She nearly lost her balance, but Neptunus helped her up.
     "Look, I need a few of you to find the room where those pipes go into," Jupiter said as he pointed at the pipes from the top of the tanks. "Order a Helioid to show you or anything. I saw Asis run away, and I think she may have run off into that room. I'm not sure why she would, though--" Jupiter looked over to see the remaining tanks with Terra and Mars still in them. "Oh no! She's going to try and use their powers! Quick, get them out while you can! I'll just go after her instead!" Jupiter ran almost at the speed of lightning out of the big room and out one of the steel doors.
     "You heard him!" Neptunus ordered and tried to break open Terra's tank. It seemed more well-built than the other tanks. "I could use some help here!" Venus threw flames at the tank while Pluto whacked at the tank using the steel pipe. Uranus attempted to confuse the Helioids using her levitation so that she could buy more time for the other Planetoids. As soon as Terra broke free, a Helioid charged at Pluto from behind, but he very quickly spun around and cut the Helioid upwards with the steel bar. He saw the Helioid coming through the reflection of the tank. Neptunus, Venus, Pluto, Uranus, and Terra ran over to Mars' tank. Before they could break it open, the tank itself went through the platform it was on and disappeared under it completely.
     "What in the world?" Terra gasped. "Your Majesty!"

     Jupiter furiously ran through the dimly-lit hallways. As he ran, he looked at each of the doors, and one of them that he came by had glowing light under it. He opened the door and peered into the room. There, he saw Asis standing on a glowing platform that had pipes connected to it. "What are you doing?" Jupiter demanded.
     "I had to retreat and use any power that I could that I had left," Asis replied. "But it appears that all of your stupid friends released most of the Planetoids, but I still have one left." She grinned evilly and looked at the screen above the platform she stood on. It was showing what power was being extracted from the tanks. On the screen was the ♂, the shield and the spear.
     "No!" Jupiter shouted as he recognized the symbol. "Let him go!" He tried shoving Asis off of the platform, and she got back at him by shooting fire from her hands. Jupiter's chest was hit and it started to burn. However, he stood up and tackled Asis down and off of the platform completely. While Asis was down, Jupiter went up to the screen and discovered a control panel under it. He looked at all of its buttons and pushed one. It opened a window out to the room where the Helioids and the Planetoids were fighting. He saw that Pluto, Terra, Venus, Uranus, and Neptunus were gone, as well as most of the Helioids. They must have ran away, thought Jupiter. He heard Asis shuffle around behind him and the clicking of her heels. Jupiter stretched his leg out and kept it straight so that he could trip Asis. Then he quickly got on top of her and held her by the throat. "Tell me how the panel works!"
     "Why?" She scoffed and kicked Jupiter in the gut. She crawled out from under Jupiter and ran back to the platform, but Jupiter was able to grab a hold of her dress and hold her back.
     "We can either resolve things peacefully, or we can get Sol to seal you back again!" Jupiter growled as he pulled Asis back down.
     "Ha! Ow! We'll just find another way to shatter the seal once again! We're an intelligent, growing, and learning species!" Asis laughed and smacked Jupiter across the face, which made his scars hurt more. She dragged him to his feet and threw him outside the window and Jupiter fell into the room in which he was previously in.

     Meanwhile, Terra and Venus ran through the dark halls and found the room with the control panel and the pipes. "Pipes!" Terra pointed out as she ran into the room with Venus. "What the?" She looked up at the screen.
     "Wait, Terra!" Venus ran up to the control panel. "I've seen one of these models before! Back when I visited that one factory! Remember? You took me there because you thought I needed to see some of the industrial world." She observed the control panel and looked at all of the buttons. "Ah, this should help. Your dreams shall be crushed, Asis!" Venus hit a green button that stopped the extraction of power and lifted the tank back up to where it was before.

     Jupiter saw the tank rise up as he tried pushing away Asis. "Please, Asis! Stop already! I understand why you and your Helioids are so upset!" Asis knocked Jupiter to the ground. "Please, just talk to me, Asis."
