Veiva's POV

I walked out the door of my house. I shook a strand of brown hair in front of my face. "Hey," said Mom. My green eyes face her. "Street racing again ?" she continued.

"Yes," I said. Mom and Dad were both skilled street racers before. I am the only 12 year old street racer. Yet, the most skilled. "Be safe honey, don't forget the martial arts I teach you," said dad. "Roger that Dad," I said saluting him. My mom and dad were very kind. I obey them. I started down the street to a place for street racing. "Hey, Vei," Jave greeted me. "Yo," I said and winked at him. "You're lucky your dad and mom were street racers. It's too hard for me to choose a lie," said Jave.

"That's teenage crime life, have to hide," I said rhyming the words. "Wow, you're a good poet already," said Jave.

I chuckled sarcasticly. Than I throw something like a little staff and it turned into a car.

*Timeskip*

I put my car into the racing road. Someone had challenged me to race alone tonight. I mean just privately.

The guy who chose me was a tough looking muscular guy, African - American, around twenty, has tattos all over his body and was hairy. "Let's just see who wins," I thought as I looked at the guy who boast about his skill. I maybe am the greatest street racer, but I won't dare boast about my skill. That's why some street racer boys liked me as a friend. After everything was ready, there's the announcement, "Ladies and Gentlemen !!! I present you the greatest street racer, Jerelyn Lawrensen, LIGHTNING !!!!" the crowd roared. Wow the most common name ever heard.

"And versus the greatest street racer, the legend ! Veiva Kevano, REBEL RACER !!!!!!" the announcer exclaimed my name. The crowd cheered and roared even louder. I gave the crowd thumbs up. I looked at Jerelyn "Lover". He just gave me a jealous look.  "This guy is just envying me," I thought.

Jerelyn's POV

I looked at this twelve year old girl. I challenge her to race alone. Just between me and her. I pretended to guve her a jealous look. I thought this kid would go over her boasting side. But she didn't.

That's funny though. My sister always boast. In front of my friends. Especcially me.

Normal POV

The racers were on position.

"LADY AND GENTLEMAN. START. YOUR. ENGIIIIIINNNNNEESSSS !!!!!!"

The two cars roared pretty loud, but smoothly. With that, the crowd roared even louder. Veiva could hear that Jave's and Jane's were the loudest. Both racers were setting up every sensor.

"READY !!!"

"SET !!!"

"GOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The cars went on very fast.

Sure it was just a lap ahead.

But also a lot of twists and turns. Veiva and Jerelyn was bumper to bumper already.

Veiva's adrenaline was raising each time she went on twists and turns section.

Everytime she went to the twists and turns section, even though the car had already gaine enough speed. She still wanted more speed. "And finally bumper to bumper, here they come," said the announcer. Veiva tried to go as fast as she could and finally she was the winner.

"And finally, Rebel Racer first and Lightning second," the announcer cheered. The crowd continued to roar loudly. Veiva flashed a smile.

She was expecting Jerelyn to come up and beat her like the other male street racers, but to her surprise, he came up with a smile on his face.

*Timeskip*

After the race, Veiva walked over to Jerelyn with Jave and his twin, Jane. Jerelyn saw them. "Hey Rebel Racer," Jerelyn greeted with a smile.

"What are you doing here ?"

"Just wanna head home," Veiva replied. "Oh, almost forgot, just wanna congratulate for the win," said Jerelyn. Veiva eyed Jerelyn suspiciously along with curiousity and confusion. "Thought you wanna beat me up like the other street racers I won on," she said. "Nah, just wanna test if what they say was right," said Jerelyn, "Besides, I don't really need to fight," said Jerelyn. "Yeah," Veiva agreed. She start to like this guy. "And lemme introduce, my only friends, Jave and Jane," Veiva introduced them.

"Hi," Jane shook hands with Jerelyn. A tint of blush appeared. Veiva notice this, but she don't wanna embarass her friend. "Sup," it's Jave's turn to shake hands with Jerelyn. "Fine, y'all make good friends," said Jerelyn who was attempting to holf his flirty spirit toward Jane.

"Alright, gotta go home or Mom'll kill us," said Jave pulling Jane's hand. Jerelyn stared at Jave and Jane with jealousy.

"Dawww...somebody's jealous," Veiva teased. "Oh, err...that was nothing," Jerelyn lied. "Don't lie at me Lawrensen," Veiva smirked.

"Alright, alright, I admit I got jealous," said Jerelyn who was sick of Veiva's tease.

"Ok, see ya later at night amigo," said Veiva. Than she ran off.
