The school was old with vines growing and metal rusting. I wondered if this was even legal for kids to go to. I stood on the front lawn not knowing where to go. I must have looked like it because the shy girl that was on the bus came up to me. "H-hey are you lost" she said in a small voice. I nodded. "I can show you around if you want I mean you don't have to why would anyone have to um I am rambling aren't I um well um." I cut her of has I said "I would love if you showed me around" she took her hood off at the sound of my voice and showed a small smile. She had big brown eyes. The girl took my hand and led me to the front door. "By the way my name is Cassie," she said in a not so shy voice. I somehow seemed comforting to her. It was like she knew me and just needed to say hello to be comfortable with me again. The rest of the day was mainly boring. It was quite embarrassing when in every class the teacher made me stand up and introduce myself. One class stood out to me. It was art. It didn't stand out because of the teacher or the things we learned but the people in the class. It went a little like this. I walked into the classroom. The walls were filled with drawings of people. Some were dancing and others were made looking like they were holding the clock. The room was packed with students all sitting on round chairs that surrounded three long tables. The art teacher was very nice and told us that today we were able to draw anything we wanted so that she could see what we each wanted to draw. The strange part was that this was the only class that Cassie, Kailey, and I were in together. They both squeezed tight around me like we were sardines in a can. Though they laughed and smiled around me I could tell there was tension between the two girls. They would stop and glare at times but I was determined to get them to like each other. The rest of the day dragged on after that class. The three of us sat on the bus together. Kailey got off first and it left just me and Cassie. She introduced me to a new anime and explained how her jacket was a replica of the characters in the show. My stop caned and a ran off home. My dad was sitting at the kitchen table unpacking but there was something in his eyes. It was a true sadness coated with a waterfall of tears. I didn't want him to know that I saw him so I tip tied up to my room. The whole day has been a fresh start which I guess is exactly what my dad wanted. My new friends saw me and someone cool yet I still lay in bed falling asleep to the sounds of anime.
The next morning was day two of misery. It went the same as the day before but the girls seemed a little more close. Life went on and my first day was getting farther away. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. The two girl I met had become my sisters. We practically lived at each other's house. But something bad was coming. College. We would be separated I told the girl the college I wanted to go to. They were sadly going to a different one. The next morning however they came in excited to tell me that they were accepted to the same college. It was so weird but I would like to hunk of it as a miracle. Summer started in two weeks. I would be moving out of the house to live at the college. My life of as an adult was finally beginning
