Always By Your Side - Eisuke (Part 1)

Every year, you will attend a health check up that is organised by Tres Spades management for all staff's welfare benefit, As you walk out the consultation room holding your medical report, you drop to your knees after hearing the doctor's words. 

"Ms _______, your report shows that you've diagnosed in Agnosia, a rare illness where your brain cells starts contracting and loses the intellectual ability to function logically, when this happens, your 5 senses will not be able to co-relate and respond, which you will start to develop visual hallucination and start losing the ability to recognise people's faces or objects.. If prolonged without immediate attention, you may lose the basic capability in daily tasks eventually. I'd urge you to undergo an operation, asap Ms ______. We may arrange the surgery as soon with your consent " 

The doctor explained. Chances of recovery is only possible if you undergo the surgery but facing only a success rate of 40% if you undergo the brain surgery, In other words...you may turn into a vegetative state or even death, in any case of a failed surgery. You kneel down outside the consultation room, lost for words started crying uncontrollably in pain.. Your heart, your body shivers in fear...Is this the end of your life? Looking into the mirror of your reflection, tears stream down as you touches your face, thinking what if one day you really can't recognise anyone else, you started wailing in the washroom......until your cellphone rings. 

It's Eisuke calling...

You clear your throat and pick up the call, trying to sound as normal as you could, so he wouldn't be able to tell. "______, are you still at the hospital?" he asks, "oh yes...i'm about to leave now.." your voice quivers a little but straining your throat and breathing from crying. "I'll come pick you up then." "Eisuke, i..i forgotten to inform you that i'm meeting Chisato for shopping today, how about i see you tonight at the penthouse?" you negotiated, not wanting him to see at this moment, but in fact, you weren't meeting anyone at all. 

"Mm, ok.." and he hangs up. His voice, just reminded of you why life is cruel to you..Why is this happening..to you when life with Eisuke just got started?You wander on the streets lifelessly, the thought of giving up your life..thinking what are you going to do with your life..how are you going to break this to Eisuke? The sun finally sets and you find yourself standing at the lift lobby to the Penthouse. You let out a deep sigh and enter the lift. The guys are there as usual, and Eisuke is talking to Soryu as they walk down the stairway. 

"Haven't seen you the whole day ____! we're so bored without your juicy stories about Eisuke!" Ota spots you with excitement. "Yeah, boss is harping on us the whole day when you're not around!" Baba adds on. Their words just starts to hurt, and you have no intention to let them know about your condition..but just to only smile at them...Eisuke puts his arms around your shoulders and kisses the side of your head. "Jeez boss, knock it out..you don't have to be all acting affectionate to ______ in front of us..." Baba complained as Eisuke takes you up to his suite. 

He pulls you over to the chair and kisses you without hesitation."where have you been the whole day? i missed you..." Eisuke narrows his soft gaze at you, the man whose always thinking bout you....Usually you would feel happy when he says something like that, but today is just different, his words carries pain instead, but you hugged him and said "i miss you too Eisuke.." 

"Eisuke, can we watch a movie tonight together?" you asked, almost with a straight face. "Movie? Why the sudden?" Eisuke look surprised.."I just suddenly feel like watching a romance film, i think it was just released yesterday" you try to convince him and he slides out his cellphone from his blazer.."yes it's me. I'm coming down to the cinema in 5."
