Sunlight streams through the open curtains giving me an early wakeup call. What time is it? 8:30am. Gosh, it felt as if I've only been asleep for 30 minutes. Last night was fun, probably the most fun I've had in awhile. Jason gave me his number last night and told me to call him after hours we spent in Wal-Mart talking and playing around. I remember that one of the things we did has he chased me as I ran away and tried to hid in the aisles. He ended up catching me and scaring the crap out of me which wasn't very fun but also was.
Did I mention that not only does he live on the floor he's also is my neighbor? Yea what a coincidence.
I sit up in bed and lean over to grab my phone off its charger on the night stand. I open my contact and scroll down until I reach the J's. John...my finger hovers over his contact before I hold it down and delete it from my phone. That shouldn't be there anyways...Jason's name was right above his I click on it and hold the device up to my ear and it rings. Jason picks up within two rings. He must have been waiting for me then.
"Hey Leaf." Leaf? Where did that come from?
"Care to explain why I'm now Leaf?" I smile even though I know he can't see it.
"Because your name is Autumn and the season Autumn has a lot of leafs so I thought-" He rambles on before I finally cut him off.
"Okay, okay I get it." Giggles reach my mouth and before I know it I'm having a laughing fit. Jason starts laughing too.
"Anyways as I was saying before you interrupted me, you wanna hang out today?" Oh, shoot. I totally forgot that I said I'd hang out with him last night without looking at my planner...yes I have a planner.
"Uh, yea about that. I have to go job hunting today if I want to stay in this apartment building so can I take a raincheck?" He sighs on the other end of the phone then starts yelling at his dog to...stop eating the fish bowl? What in Gods name is going on over there?
"That's fine, just message me when you can. Oh, and if you're looking for a good job I know a place that my friend works at that's looking for a P.A, I can send over the information and I know they pay really well." I could use a good paying job and I've had experience with being a P.A. I think I should do it. Then maybe I can save up enough to buy a better home.
"Yea, send over the information. Thanks, Jason but I'm going to make breakfast so just text me the email and I'll apply tonight. Bye." I hang up the call and slowly crawl my way out of bed because who would want to get out of their comfortable bed. I'll miss you bed, until tonight. I yank my shirt off and put on an MCR t-shirt because #NeverForget then some black shorts.
Jason's name pops up on my phone along with his text with an email attachment.
Jason: Email this guy, his name is Damon Greyson. He's the CEO looking for a P.A as I said earlier. Also, he can be kind of...rude at sometimes. He's had a lot happen to him.'
Me: Okay thanks again!
Might as well email him now so I can get that out of the way. The email says to send basic information to him like age, gender, major, all that. It really wasn't that hard. I'm pretty sure I'm going to at least get interviewed. My finger hovers over the send button for about 30 seconds as my eyes scan over it looking for any mistakes. Looks good. I click the button and send it off to Damon. Might as well get breakfast and go for a jog while I wait.
~!~
I pull my blonde hair into a bun and stuff my headphones into my ears drowning out the rest of the sounds from the world around me as I walk outside. My playlist mainly consists of EXO, BTS, P!ATD, MCR, all that good stuff. It's really fun to run too in fact. As I take off down the road my concentration drifts off towards my application. The guy's name, for some reason it rings a bell that I can't quite place where it's coming from. But I mean there's many Damons in the world so it might just be a coincidence. I look down at my watch, the timer only down five minutes. Yay, only 25 more to go.
