EMMA

Just as she decided to let her walls down with the pirate, Neal shows up. Don't get her wrong, she was amazingly happy when she saw him alive, but another part of her didn't want it to be real. She now wanted to be with Hook. She sort of always wanted to be with him.

She didn't know what to do. It was clear to her that he felt the same way, but now with Neal here how would things work out? Just as she was starting to move on from him, he has show up asking her if she was happy to see him.

And of course she was! How could she not have been? But now she wasn't as happy as she would've been if she was in Storybrooke still with their son and father away from the pirate.

But Emma wasn't sure she even wanted that. Even though she wanted a perfect family with Henry's dad and Henry, she just couldn't shake Captain Hook.

They had been following the directions on Pan's map for what seemed like hours now -Hook following beside her silently the entire time. She missed his voice that always made her laugh on this dreadful journey.

Neal, on the other hand, walked a good distance behind Hook and Emma. She could feel his eyes bouncing between her and Hook like something was going on between them, but nothing was, even if she wanted there to be. Besides, he had no business in her relationships at the moment -it's not like Neal and Emma were dating.

Sure they told each other that they loved each other, but that was because they both thought he was about to die... right?

Emma stopped walking and sat down on a rock -she and the others clearly needed a rest. Captain Hook immediately took a seat on the ground next to Emma. Emma smiled at him as Neal took a seat on the opposite side of the rock -on the ground- and sighed.

Emma immediately stiffened; she did not feel the same comfort around both Neal and the pirate as she did with just Captain Hook (the pirate).

Emma's parents then sat down against a tree and said, "Regina, take a rest, we'll get there tomorrow."

"Henry won't be there tomorrow, because the camp won't be there tomorrow!" Regina was standing between the five of of them with her arms crossed, clearly trying to keep cool.

"We need to rest, lass. I feel like an ancient antique." Hook said. Regina rolled her eyes in response but walked over to a tree next to Emma's parents and sat -they may not have been friends, but they were the closet thing Regina had to it.

Emma looked over at Hook and smiled, "You look good for three-hundred, though." She said this in a matter-of-fact tone, like she's been observing it for quite some time.

Hook smirked at her and said, "So does Baelfire over there, oh but wait, he isn't quit my age now is he?"

Emma could feel Neal give Hook a glare, but Emma just gave a light laugh. Hook then looked over to Neal and shrugged, saying "Sorry," to Neal as he asked Hook what was the matter with him.

Emma just sighed.

"Emma?" She heard spoke at last as she lay against the forest floor with the wool blanket around her. Hook had gone to get some edible berries for them both to eat.

Emma sighed and sat up, "Yes, Neal?" She could hear the exasperation in her own voice.

He came closer to Emma and sat down -the others were all sleeping and it was pitch black accept for the moon and fire light.

"I have to tell you something before Hook comes back," he said quietly. She didn't like where this was going, but she replied, "What is it?" He let out a breath and said, "Emma, I'm in love with you. I have never stopped loving you. It was a huge mistake to leave you, and it's my biggest regret in life. Had I known you were pregnant, I'd have definitely never left, but I should have not left in the first place -you know my excuse, but it is not good enough.

"Now I am here, and I am telling you this, because I'm in love with you, Emma Swan. I want -I need- a second chance with you. A chance where you, Henry, and I can all be a family when we find him. Please, Emma, please."

There was tear in Neal's eye now. Under any other circumstances, Emma would've loved his speech, but now her heart had already started to move on. She just couldn't help the part of her that wanted Captain Hook.

"Neal, I..." Emma tried to start a response, but failed. She knew Hook would be back any minute now.

"I see the way you look at him, Emma. I'm not blind. But... I'm asking for a second chance. Please."

"Neal, I don't know."

"Take your time," he said standing up and walking back to the tree he was taking watch by until it was Emma's and Hook's shift.

Emma then wiped away the tears that had fallen from her eyes, and that she hadn't noticed had fallen until then.

A few minutes later, Hook came back.

"M'lady," he said sitting down and taking her hand. He brought it to his mouth and planted a gentle kiss on it. Emma immediately smiled -all her worries washing away. "Your berries, as asked."

He turned Emma's hand and poured a handful of bluish berries into them. As soon as he was done filling Emma's hand he opened his other hand and filled his mouth with the same berries.

Emma grinned at him and he smiled back around a mouthful of berries. "Thanks, Hook," she said to him.

"Aye," he said. And then he pulled the cover out from under him. He then tossed it over his head and when it fell back it was laying so it was covering both him and her.

"Not this again?" Though Emma didn't sound very convincing because of her grin.

"What again? I'm cold," Hook said.

Emma nodded and then laid down on the ground. "Me too," she said. "Aye, need my warmth again, love?" Hood said it like he was joking, but he laid down with her anyway, instantly Emma put her head on his arm -making him wrap his arms around her.

"Maybe I do," she said to his chest, and then she fell asleep.

HOOK (KILLIAN)

Hook fell asleep for the second night in a row with Emma on him, and he still didn't mind. He liked -no loved- the warmth he received from her.

When Baelfire shook Hook's leg with his foot to awaken him, it startled him so that he thought someone was trying to attack them. He immediately tightened his grip on Emma so no one could hurt her, but it was just Baelfire looking down at him angrily and sleepily at the same time.

"Wake up, time for your shift," he said in an angry tone. He then bent over and tapped Emma's shoulder who said, "Hook," in a tired voice. Baelfire looked like he wanted to murder Killian Jones even more right then, that is, until Emma's eyes fluttered open.

"Morning, time for your shift," Baelfire said in a kind tone.

"Yay," Emma said sarcastically as she sat up. She looked down at the pirate who was still laying down. Hook took that as his signal to get up, so he did, and when he did, he was sitting next to Emma.

"Okay, Baelfire, you can go to sleep now," Captain Hook said to the boy hovering over them like a lost puppy.

"Yeah," he said again in his angry voice as he walked over to the tree across from them and laid down.

Hook immediately smiled at Emma, "Now that I have you alone...." He was playfully getting closer every second. Emma laughed and pushed him away. "Mhm, yeah," she replied rolling her eyes.

But Killian knew. He could tell the exact moment she had let her walls come down. It was exhilarating for him, and now that Baelfire was there he could tell that she was fighting to keep the walls down just for him, but up when Baelfire came along.

He looked over at Baelfire to see if he was awake still, but he was already sleeping. Hook looked back over to Emma and grinned, making her laugh.

She then scooted over to where she pushed him and hugged him around the waist, "Thank you, Hook."

"For what?" He said hugging her back.

"Always making me laugh," she said still hugging him, but looking up at him in the eyes.

This made Hook laugh, "Of course, M'lady." Emma then laughed again.

"Stop doing that," she said lying against his chest. "Sorry, love, it's natural," Hook said smiling slightly as he held her. "And, Emma, I have a name, but it's not Hook. It's Killian. Killian Jones."

Emma furrowed her eyebrows as if she was considering this and said, "Killian... it suits you." Then she looked up at him and smiled.

***

When the sun started rising Emma spoke again, "Good morning, Killian." Hook smiled at this. He wasn't used to people calling him by his name, but he liked it.

Hook smiled into the sky and said, "Morning, love."

She then sat up and stared at him, -an inch from his face- saying, "So I call you by your name by you don't call me by mine?" Hook considered this for a moment before responding, "Guess it's habit, love. Sorry, Emma."

Emma smirked at that, looking into his eyes. Killian noticed how Emma's eyes traveled down from his eyes to his lips. He immediately did the same thing to Emma.

Suddenly they were both leaning in. Hook's mouth hit Emma's and warmth spread through his body -along with an electricity he has never felt before.

Finally, they stopped -and much to Hook's dismay. When they pulled apart, Emma rested her forehead against Killian's. She was breathing hard, and so was he. Emma closed her eyes, smiled, planted a quick kiss on Hook's mouth, and then pulled away yet again -turning her head to her right.

She opened them, acting like she was about to turn back to Hook, when her eyes filled with horror. She whispered something that at first he couldn't hear. "What's that, love?"

"Neal," she said louder. Hook turned to see Baelfire sitting against the tree that he had fallen asleep on, but he was awake. He was staring at the ground with tears streaming down his face.

Emma turned back to Killian and it was clear to him what she was going to do. "I'm going to talk to him, Killian." Emma talked like it was a suggestion, but her face said it was not.

He nodded and watched as Emma walked over to Baelfire -and like a fire going out, all the warmth drained out of Killian.

NEAL (BAE)

Fortunately, Neal was wrong about Hook and Emma being together before he got to Neverland. It just turns out that they got together after he got there and told Emma how he felt -how he still felt.

Emma walked over to him and Neal looked up. He saw all over her face that he had already lost the fight, and that she was going to tell him that.

"Neal," she said crouching down in front of him. "Can you tell me what you're thinking?"

Neal stared into her eyes. He didn't want to talk, because he knew what was going to be said, but he had to. He had to fight.

"What am I thinking? I am thinking that you let me rant on about how I feel about you when all along you were going to choose him. Emma, he's not good for you. He isn't your true love. He was with my mother, for goodness sake."

Emma took a deep breath, clearly trying to stay calm. "What would you know about true love, Neal? You left me when I needed you most. If you truly loved me, then you would not have let anyone tell you what to do -even if you claim that it was because I was the savior. Oh, and let's not forget when we found you as Baelfire, Rumplestiltskin's son. If you truly loved me, you would've told me about that. You also would not have come back with Tamara saying that you had moved on and that you loved her. You say you want a second chance, but I don't know how to give you one when my trust for you is gone."

Neal, for quite some time, was quiet. "Do you trust him?"

Emma turned her head towards the man that was ruining everything for him. When she turned back, she was smiling. Not in a snarky sort of way, but it an admiring way.

"Yeah, I do."

"Good then, but, Emma I want you to trust me."

Neal could tell Emma was thinking through everything. Finally she said, "I do trust you, Neal. I trust you with my life, but when it comes to us being together... I don't know if I can trust you with my heart."

Neal nodded, understanding. Although he didn't want it to be true, he understood. "But, we still have a common love, and that is Henry. We have to find Henry, Neal. We are his parents," Emma had started crying. Neal spread his arms out and she went into them. "We'll find him," Neal promised.

She then pulled back, and kissed Neal on the cheek, saying, "Love you, Neal."

She then stood and walked over to the pirate whom he didn't like much. He had stole his mother away from his father, -which he didn't hold too much of a grudge about since his father had been the one to kill her- given him to the lost boys, and now he had stolen Emma away from him.

A tear slipped from Neal's eye as he watched Hook kiss the girl he had thought was going to be his.

EMMA

Emma walked back over to Killian. She was on the verge of tears. She just wanted Neal to be happy, but she also had to think about herself, and she couldn't forget about Killian's happiness.

When she was thinking it through she realized that she also had to figure in Henry's happiness. Although she thought that he'd be happy for her either way, she also knew that if she casted his dad off, he would never forgive her.

"How'd it go, love?" Hook said as she reached him. "It was hard, but I got through it." Hook shifted how he was seating, and he looked uncomfortable.

Emma realized that he might not be sure if she had chosen him or not. "Killian, it was hard telling him that I'd rather be with you. That I love you and trust you."

Killian stared at her and then he grinned and embraced her in a hug. "It's okay. Baelfire -or Neal- will be okay." "I know," Emma said hugging him tightly back.

"I love you, too, Emma. And I trust you," Hook said to her, pulling back a bit, and then he made their lips collide. His lips were surprisingly soft for a pirate... although Emma didn't really know what his lips should feel like.

Emma pulled back after a little while and smiled at him. They then heard a yawn.

Emma turned to face the awoken person. She looked at the faces of the three people and saw that it was Mary-Margret who was in the process of waking up.

Emma turned back to Killian, frantic. "Do you have any desire to keep this a secret?"

Hook's eyes then widened. "I don't know. You said your father would torture me if he found out there was anything between us."

"Yeah, but only if we kept it a secret, and he finds out. I don't know what he would do if we told him now."

Hook's eyes then flashed like he was remembering something. He furrowed his brow and looked at the ground. "Let's tell them now. But not Regina, she'll just use it against you with Henry."

Emma looked at him in concern, worried about what he was remembering, but it would have to wait. She nodded and stood, walking over to Neal.

She didn't want to face him again after last time, but she had to. And plus, she was about to ask him something big. "Yeah?" His voice didn't even sound like him.

Emma crouched down in front of him like before. "I know this is probably too much to ask, but can you keep my relationship with Hook a secret from Regina? I don't want her using it against me with Henry."

Neal looked up at her, "It's not too much to ask. Henry is our son, and his mother is best for him -you, that is. And, I don't want to talk about it anyway."

Emma stared at him. He was acting so weird around her. "Okay. I'd tell you thanks, but I know it's not a favor."

And with that Emma turned and walked away.

She sat back down next to Killian just in time to see her mother open her eyes. After David, Emma was the first person she laid her eyes on.

She smiled at her lightly and then walked over to her and Hook. "Morning," she said as she sat down in front of them.

"Morning," Emma and Hook replied at the same time. Mary-Margret raised an eyebrow at them as she spoke, "Should we wake the others and start searching again?"

Emma looked over at Killian who said, "Maybe we should wake up just David."

Emma nodded and turned to her mother, "I need to tell you guys something. It's important."

She looked suspicious, but didn't ask any questions. She just nodded and walked over to where David slept.

Emma turned to Killian. She then said, "Are you sure you want to do this?" He nodded and replied, "Only if you are, love." Emma considered this for a moment.

Did she want her parents to know about her and Hook? Yes. Of course she did. It was the one of many steps to not feeling like an orphan anymore.

Hook then said, "Who are you? What did you have to stop denying?" Great. He can read minds.

But Emma could trust him, so she told him. "I had to stop denying that I am an orphan -or that I feel like one- and that I am lost."

He looked at her with sympathy and understanding. "A lost girl?" Emma cracked a small smile. Pan had called her that, and it wasn't funny or cute then, but it was now. "Yeah, a lost girl. I guess Pan thought it was funny."

Hook then turned his eyes to the distance. "It's not. That isn't funny. He isn't funny."

Emma smiled at him. "I know."

Hook turned to face her and smiled back just as David wakes up. "What do you mean she wants to talk to us? About what?"

Emma groans and turns to face her mother who was struggling to get Emma's father out of bed. "Come on, David!" Mary-Margret pulls at his arm and yells at him as he lies there.

David finally stands up on his own, smiles and shrugs at his wife, and then turns to Emma. As soon as his eyes land on Killian he frowns. This is going to be harder then we thought, Emma thought.

Her father then said, "What did you have to tell us?"

"Not very charming is he?" Hook joked. Emma smiled, but then forced a frown. "I'll tell you, but sit down please." Emma noticed the change on Mary-Margret's face as Emma said that. Then Snow White told Charming to "come on," and they were sitting.

Emma took a deep breath in and when she let it out it was shaky.

"Okay, go on then." Mary-Margret seemed to be worried as to what Emma wanted to tell them.

"First things first. Regina is asleep. Is this right?" She looked over at Regina and saw that she was indeed still sleeping, or at least seemed like it. "Yes, why?" David looked down at Hook's and Emma's knees touching and furrowed his brow.

"Because, I don't want her to hear this. Now, another thing. I'm not the only one telling you something. Hook and I are telling you something." Emma ignored her parents' looks completely focusing on her and continued. "Ki-Hook and I... we've been bonding, and well, now we're together."

They looked taken aback. David composed himself first, "What do you mean 'together?'" She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. She then turned to Killian, hoping that he would explain -but not in a way where they'd think he wasn't right for Emma.

MARY-MARGRET (SNOW WHITE)

I watched as Emma turned to Hook for assistance. Mary-Margret sat there speechless. She didn't actually think they could be together. David of course knew what "together" meant, but she knew what he was doing -searching for a second option.

A/N: I know it might be confusing with the changing names, but keep in mind that they were called their Storybrooke names for 28 years. So, now with their memories back, the other names are sort of like nicknames. They are also like their actual names, and they are just getting used to calling each other by their real names again.

With Captain Hook or Killian, Captain Hook is what he is called most, too (he is called by his nickname most), but it's just a nickname because of his hook. His real name is Killian and now that he has told Emma that, she will call him by both.

Sorry if any of this note was confusing. Thanks for reading. :)

Hook then spoke up, "What Emma is trying to say is that... We love each other and I would do anything for her. Anything. Yes, I've tried to kill her before, but that was just a bit of fun. I would now do anything to keep her safe."

Mary-Margret was surprised at his words. Part of them made her wanted to smack him, but the others -they made her want to hug him. She truly believed that her daughter was safe with him.

As for David, well...

Emma turned to the pirate and gave him a small grin. Snow was so focused on studying them, that she didn't see David spring up and attack Hook.

Emma squealed, "Killian!! David! Charming! Dad!!! Get off of him!" "David, get off of him!" Emma and Snow were now trying to pull the charming prince him self off of Captain Hook.

"You love my daughter?! Stay away from her!" David was still on Hook with his hands wrapped around his neck. The pirate was trying to push him off, but the three of them were apparently not enough.

Suddenly, Neal was pulling, too. Mary-Margret didn't know he was up, but apparently he was and she was thankful. With Neal's help they were able to pull David off of Hook. Neal throws him a few feet away from Hook; Emma immediately runs to him.

"What's wrong with you?!" She was whispering and yelling at the same time. Mary-Margret turned to see Regina still sleeping. Wow, she thought.

"I'm sor-" David's voice was quiet and breathless.

"No. We didn't have to tell you, but he wanted to. We should not have told you!" Emma, -still whisper-yelling- stood up after ignoring her father's apologies and stormed over to Captain Hook.

Right when Emma reached Mary-Margret, she started running to him. "Emma-" Mary-Margret tried to speak to her, but she just ran past her -not stopping when she bumped into her mother.

HOOK (KILLIAN)

He watched as Emma ran to him, only stopping to hug Baelfire. Hook heard her tell him thank you. Baelfire didn't say anything back, he just hugged her lightly back and then let her go.

She instantly dropped down to the ground next to Hook, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Killian said coughing.

Emma let out a choked laugh. She had tears in her eyes. "Shut up," she said to him as she bent down to hug him. "I love you."

"Love you, too." Hook then kissed the top of her head. "Sorry my father tried to kill you," she said turning her head to face Regina.

"It's okay. It's not the first time somebody's wanted to kill me."

Emma laughed lightly in his arms. All of a sudden, Emma jerked up. She looked down at Killian and said quietly, "Regina's waking up." He felt his eyes widen as he nodded.

She stood up and turned to Baelfire, "Act like I'm talking to you?"

"But you are talking to me..." He sounded exasperated.

"Good," Emma said smiling proudly. Killian wanted to laugh, but he didn't because at that moment Regina stood. She looks confused as she looked around at all of them.

Hook quickly stands up although it tired him out. He stood still by Baelfire and Emma; they had just stopped "talking" and had turned to face Regina.

"Did I miss something?" Regina had arched an eyebrow and turned her facial expression to something that said, What are you looking at?

"No," Emma, Hook, Snow White, David, and Baelfire all said at once.

A/N: So, I will probably do one more chapter at least for this. A wrap-up chapter of sorts. The next chapter probably won't be very long, but if you guys want me to write more after that, then comment.

Thank you guys for reading and voting. I'll post next chapter soon.
