Percy p.o.v

I'm not giving up on her, I will stick by her side till she regains her memories.

I've returned Zeus's master bolt, saved Grover from the sea of monsters, held the sky, ventured through the labyrinth and battled Kronos. I can do this.

I can't live without Annabeth, if she doesn't remember me, i'll start over. I would even fall into Tartarus for her. I need her.

The only thing she remembers about me; is that I drool when I sleep. Great! Just great. She must think i'm sone sort of idiot. Well, I guess she's always thought that. I would do anything for her to just call me Seaweed brain; or even Kelp face would do.

We've been though so much together and, Bam! It's gone. We've saved each other's behind more times than I can count.

I bet the Gods are laughing at me, Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, can conquer Ares, the sea of monsters, Atlas, the labyrinth, mount St. Helens, Kronos and many more monsters including the Minotaur and a Hydra, and yet, when my girlfriend loses her memory I fall the Pegasus poop.

I guess I should go see her, see if I can jog her memory. I walk out of my familiar smelling cabin, the smell of the sea always clears my head, Nico's just walking out of his cabin, he's actually staying a couple days.

'Hey Nico' I say casually.

'Oh, hi Percy.' I still don't quite understand Nico, I mean, i've known him for four years and yet I still don't understand him. He had to grow up to fast, then again, most demigods do.

'Do you want to help me, try to help Annabeth regain her memory?'

I see a flash of anger ripple across his face, at the mention of Annabeth's name. She's never done anything to hurt him, I won't dwell on it though.

'Not really.'

'Okay well, i'll talk to you later then.'

He starts to turn away.

'Oh, and Nico,' he turns back to face me, 'It would be nice if you stayed here a while longer we could actually hang out sometime.' I swear I see him blush but I let it pass, he hates it when people ask him questions.

'Okay.'

I walk in the infirmary to find Annabeth sat up talking to Chiron.

'Hello Percy.' Chiron greets me warmly.

'Hi Chiron, Morning Wise-girl.'

'Hi seaweed brain.' she says.

Did she, did she just call me seaweed brain? Yes!

'What did you just call me?' I say playfully.

'Seaweed brain, what else?'

I'm dreaming, i've got to be! I rush towards her. She laughs and my heart melts.

'So, do you remember everything?' I say as a clasp her hand. She pulls away, while saying.

'Only that you drool when you sleep, and that I used to call you seaweed brain.'

My heart sinks. She used to call me seaweed brain, does that mean I won't ever hear that come from her lips again?

'Oh'

'I'm sure i'll remember more later Percy, i'm sorry.'

'No, no, it's okay, can I stay?'

'Of course.'

'I was just leaving.' Chiron says and leaves the room.

'So how do you feel?' I ask her.

'Much better, thank you, you?'

'I'm okay, thanks. Do you think, you could ever love me? I mean, if you never regain your memory.' I ask.

'Probably, I mean, people have told me everything you've ever done for me or them.'

'I love you Annabeth. I will always love you. I hope you know that'

'I can tell you're not lying, just by the look on your face, if I don't regain my memory, then, I hope I can, in time, return those feelings you have for me, the way I used to, you seem so sweet.'

'It's my birthday in a few weeks.'

'Is it?'

'Yep.'

'Well, I'll make you a cake then.'

'Sounds good to me. Do you want to go for a walk around camp?'

'Okay.'
