A vampire's desire...

Chapter 3

"My what?" I said in disbelief. I so confused. I normally say ' But I am just a human' but after what I did to that guard I don't even know what am I !

" Um.. your mate...you know, two persons that are destined to be together..."  he trailed while shrugging the back of his neck. Holy mother...he was unnaturally cute...

"Uh...okay...and where am I?" I asked blushing. Awkward . But it's not my fault. The only man that wasn't sibling and I had contact with,was that bastard vampire.

He opened his mouth to answer but a knock interrupt him. I look at him curiously.

" Are you expecting someone? "

"No..."

He stood up and slowly reach the door.

You should check from the window to see who is it...

Why?

Just do it!

I obeyed to my instinct  and tip toed to the window.

I peeked from the window and gasped. Bloosuckers! What they want? I snapped my head to my mate and saw him ready to open the door.

 My eyes widen and I could see everything in slow motion.

 Go! Save him!

I obeyed again to my small voice and without hesitation I jumped on to him , tackling him down.

 Once I touched him the slow motion turn off.

"What are you doing?" He asked breathless. I could feel sparkles to my spine, from our touch.

"Don't open the door!" I whispered yelled. He looked at me confused.

" Why?"

"Are you a werewolf?" I don't know how I weren't notice earlier. His tanned and well built body. His green eyes, that they had some yellow, like honey, in deep. All werewolves have this yellow in their eyes. Some of them much, some less.

" Yes but ho- "

"And you didn't smell the vampires?" I asked

He sniffed in the air and his eyes widen. I could see that he had blushed a little.

"Well...yes now..."

"Now?"

"Before I was only smell your scent..."

" My scent?"

"I'll telll you later we have to get out of here!" We stood up and he throw me a bag. I raised my brow at him.

"Go find any food you can carry in this bag. Okay?" he said while grabbing money from the table.

I nodded and rushed to his small kitchen. I opened a cupboard and start putting food in the bag.

The knocking became louder.

" Open the door! In the name Of the King" The vampire yelled.

My mate rushed in the kitchen with a full bag and I looked at him worried.

"Please don't let them take me again" I said terrified.

He hugged me and I could smell...pineapple and watermelon? It smell amazing...

"They are not gonna harm you. Let's go" he said and grabbed my hand.

" Open the door Or we gonna break it"

We got out of the kitchen and went to another room, that I assume it was a potion room. He pushed a button on the wall and it moved making a exit to a garden.

A loud thump make my knees go weak. They were breaking the door.

" Hurry!" he grabbed me, without hurting me, and went outside.

"I want you to take these bags." he gave them to me" and jump on my back okay?"

I was about to answer but suddenly a beautiful, huge white wolf, was in front of me. I gasped. He nooded his head and I jumped on his back. I grabbed from his fur, not with much force,just for balance, and rest my head at his spine.

He start running, and very fast! I turned my head and saw that the vampires had burst into the house and looking for us.

Good searching.

Be carried by a werewolf its...amazing. The air was hitting my hair and face and everything was just a blur. I closed my eyes and get my self comfortable at my mate's back.

A sharp pain wake me up and I screamed in agony. My eyes snapped open and saw two red ones.

I tried to run, to turn around but nothing could work.  I looked around and saw that the bastard had caught by my hair.

" Let her alone!" My mate screamed

He was held down to the dust by seven vampires! That's not good...

'' No we are taking her!'' he hissed at my mate.

When I looked at the person that I was destined to be together, I frozed. His eyes start to went black and start tremble. His breath was short and quick, and for an unknown reason I wasn't terrified. At all. I, somehow feel that I would be always safe with him.

'' Soldiers he is forming to his wolf form, stop him!'' The vampire that was holding me barked.

'' How?'' one soldier asked terrified.

'' He is an Alpha!'' another soldier cried out.

My mate stood up , now in his wolf form , and snarled to the vampires. They lunged at him and he killed them.

Now, he was standing in front of the vampire and the vampire let me down making me fall with a loud thump to the ground.

They start to circle each other. My heart start beating very fast. He couldn't kill my mate right? He was an Alpha, which it meant that he was powerful.

Do something!

Why? He can kill him right?

Still he is your mate you have to protect him!

My instincts took place and I fell an unknown, yet familiar, power travel through my veins.

Everything went to slow motion again and I run to the bloodsucker. I stood in front of him and the slow motion went off. He blinked, and I closed my eyes. I opened them quickly and put all my strength to cause him pain.

His screams made me understand that I had succeed...
