An animal scurried past me, looking alarmed. There was no real reason for it to be alarmed in this Safe-haven, so I turned my head, and saw it was running away from something. As soon as it was out of sight, I saw a large cloud approaching. It was a really peculiar cloud, dark and... stormy? Was that the word for it?
But a crackle hit my ears, and I spotted something terrifying. A huge, blazing fire. And ten meters behind that? The beginnings of a world-ending flood. Although I didn't know it at the time, that was the end of life as I knew it.
