Lately, Vic has been staying out till late and coming home drunk. You've gotten tired of it so when he promised he was gonna come home at six tonight, you took that as an opportunity to make dinner and get some movies.
But now it's eight and he still hasn't come home. He didn't always used to be like this. You remember when there were days where he would be begging to have days off just to come home and spend time with you. But now it's like he's trying to get away from you.
You waited and waited until it was ten. You put the food away and washed the dishes. When you were done you went upstairs to your bedroom and got in bed.
An hour later, you heard the front door open and a bunch of curses following it. You sat up and made your way downstairs.
There he was, late again.
"Vic, where were you?!" You sad, folding your arms.
"Out" He said trying to walk past you. You held up your arms to stop him.
"You've been out this whole week Vic."
"I've just been busy." He says. You scoff and look him straight In the eyes.
"Being busy is this? Coming home at odd hours of the night? Me, waiting for you and calling you, just to be worried when you don't pick up?"
"Im tired" He says, going up the stairs.
"Yeah? Well I'm tired too" You yell.
"No y/n! You don't understand, I'm tired of you! In tired of this." He says in a harsh tone. Tears threaten to spill but you don't let them.
"All I ever do is try to look out for you and-"
"Im tired of all your nagging, I don't need you y/n. I don't even know what I saw in you." By now you can help but let the tears fall. He looks at you will a hard look.
"But I thought you said you love'"
"I lied y/n, people lie all the time." He says closing the bedroom door.
You close your eyes and grabbed your keys. You don't know where You're going but you sure as he'll didn't want to be here right now.
You thought you and Vic were perfect for each other but seems like he thought differently.
You just had to accept the fact that he just wasn't in love with you.
