Celeste's POV
I was walking to school like I did everyday. I got to school and got my stuff for class. I walked into homeroom and didn't see Dalton anywhere, I put my stuff at my desk and went to Dalton's locker and opened it, he said that if something would happen, like any day, that he would have left a note in his locker, I looked and looked but couldn't find the note with his familiar handwriting. My friend saw me and rubbed my back, my friend's name is Lily and she was always there for me. I went into class and then waited the whole day to get home, when I did, my mom told me that earlier this morning Dalton had disappeared and his parents didn't even know where he was. I cried and cried every night since that day.
Lily's POV
I went to her house every day after I heard what happened. She was so depressed, and her eyes had become dull. She got bullied every day since and I was miffed. I always asked the month before December what she wanted for Christmas, she said "I want to see Dalton....." it broke my heart to see her like that. I got her more Justin Bieber perfume for Christmas and by that point she never smiled anymore. I couldn't remember the last time she smiled. I sat in my room and thought about what to do to cheer her up, I couldn't think of anything logical. I waited and waited till something happy happened but nothing did.
Celeste's POV
School. Again. I sighed and put on my baggy hoodie and put on the heart necklace Dalton had gotten me for my birth day that year, it was months since he disappeared, and I still cried about losing him. As soon as I got to school Lily hugged me and asked me how I was doing, I said fine, as usual. Lily sighed and walked with me to class, it was the last day of school and I was glad. 8 hours of school on the last day, what a waste of time. I kept thinking silently as I signed peoples year books and they signed mine. School ended and I ran home, as soon as I got home I ran into my room and cried because the year book put mine and Dalton's pictures next to each other, and we were in the back o the year book as cutest couple, our pictures were next to the kid's who won best dressed. I still cried because Dalton couldn't see, but they gave me his year book to save for him so I signed it with a heart and put it in a box.
