Pauline June's POV

A Month After Their Marriage

"You don't love me as much as I love you", he said and turned away looking at the TV while taking his hand away from my shoulder and folded his hands near his chest.

"You can't say that! You don't know how much I love you!", I argued back. How can he say that I don't love him? He just shrugged back at my response and didn't even look at me.

"Well, you don't show me anymore. It's like all the love vanished". God! He behaves like a drama queen sometimes!

"Why are thinking like that?! Did I do something wrong? Why do you feel like that?". It really worries me when he say that. I love him so much. My love for him only increased and never decreased a bit. I turn to him and put my hand on his arm to make him look at me, although that didn't work.

"I don't know, may be because you didn't react in any way when you the lipstick mark on my shirt an hour ago", he said looking at the TV. I rolled my eyes. He is really being a drama queen right now.

"Nick, we both know that it was you. You put on my red lipstick and pressed the shirt to your lips so that the mark can appear. You made it all to make me feel jealous!".

He is really behaving like a kid now. I saw the red lipstick on his shirt and was about to ask him, when I found tissues near the dust bin in our bedroom and found the same color lipstick on them. Then I looked at him and found a small bit of the red color on the side of his lips. Meaning.... He did it. He put the lipstick. Anyone can easily figure it out.

"You can't blame me saying that I don't love you!", I argued again.

"I did all that to get a reaction out of you. Well my plan surely failed", he said disappointingly. He almost pouted. Almost. "Why don't you ever feel jealous?", he asked while sitting straight and looking at me. I gave him a smile at his question.

"Why should I be jealous when I know my hubby loves me so much? Although I should say I want to punch anyone women that will look at you lustfully when we go out! Do you know how annoying it is?". I turn my head away from him and he pulled me in his lap suddenly. I squealed in surprise. He kissed my cheek and put his hands around my waist.

"You know I love you and", he stopped before looking into my eyes. I was expecting him to say something along 'you don't have anything to be jealous about', but obviously, I was wrong. It is Nick that is talking. ".... I am happy that you feel jealous when other women look at me". He laughed after saying that. I glared at him playfully. He pecked my lips.

"I hate you". I put my arms around his neck and kiss his lips while saying that. He smiled his gorgeous smile and I melted right then and there.

"I love you too". His words always leave me astonished. I giggled before kissing him back.

I recollect all the scene that happened a week earlier once I saw the white shirt that Nick just threw on the bed before going into the bathroom. I hug it to my body smiling. You wanted to make me jealous right? Well you will see today, what it will be when I feel jealous.
