Chapter 5 (peview)

I awoke, cold dew painted across my forehead. The family stood there frozen. I rose up and spotted one of the creatures standing there. “Hello.” It said with its deep voice. It had a lisp “The Graa are awakening, I am but a pawn. You will die with the world. But we need that amulet. Give it too us” suddenly millions of them began to form, made out of shadow, all whispering the same thing. “NO” I screamed, sending tendrils of shadow bursting out wards, killing all of the creatures except the original one. It didn’t flinch. “there is a storm rising and you are but a metal rod child.  Vlash unk Graa areo! (The Graa will rise!)” And then he melted and time resumed itself. First of all Hanna ran to catch me as my knees buckled. “what the hell happened? You drank the mixture then fell to the ground for a second.” She exclaimed. I didn’t feel talkative so I gave her a sheepish smile. “I felt sick…” I said, the look of the creatures face flashing before me. What was the storm? When will it hit. I looked down and the amulet was where it was meant to be, on my chest. I rose slowly and looked out of the window, It was raining heavily. I noticed a dark figure in the back yard. I began to walk towards it, driven by curiosity. It was tall and wore a deep purple clock that covered its face. I was about 5 yards from it and it did nothing but hum. It hummed and hummed. Then it slowly liftwed it's face and looked at me. It’s face was a pale yellowish colour and it has no eyes. It was still humming but now it was twisting it’s neck round and round, the noise of its breaking neck sickening me. I wanted to run but I was paralysed with fear.
