Birth of a Curse

Raven woke up half his body sprawled across the bed, his body was sore as hell.
it had felt like somebody stabbed needles into every part of his body.
He groaned and climbed onto the bed completely as it was a Sunday
He buried himself in a soft blanket burrito as he smiled softly he had convinced himself yesterday was a big dream
He had almost fall back to sleep as his alarm clock started blaring at a alarmingly loud tone
He jumped and glared at the alarm clock and noticed he couldn't see it, it was a blur a completely blur he tilted his head to look at the time squinting his eyes to see it as it still didn't work.
He rubbed his eyes and sat up thinking it was just tears in his eyes as he noticed everything past a few inches were a big blur.

Raven stood up being really careful not to trip over anything by putting his foot down multiple times before stepping.
he walked into his fathers office which was next door and placed his hands inside of his dads glasses cup and took a pair out, there was a slim chance but eyes just giving out so suddenly was unheard of.
He placed the glasses on his face and looked around it was perfectly clear.
"This is quite impossible..."he spoke to himself looking up taking the glasses off his nose and looked at them then looked around at the blur and placed them back on.
Raven froze up hearing his voice it was a bit higher than his own and it sounded like it was a whole different tone. He also noticed he could touch the ceiling if he desired.
Before he started to freak out he ran over to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror.
His eyes got wide as he couldn't believe his eyes,his eye which were originally brown were all pale purplish blue with dark purple blue pupils and a light light purple blue surrounding his pupil they seemed to have a slight glow to him and his hair. It looked as if somebody deep bleached his hair and just splashed random shades of pale purple and blue.
He was at least five inches taller then he originally was.
Raven was almost frozen as he ran his hand though his hair and pulled out a single hair to make sure it wasn't a wig.
He then backed up into the shower and fell into the tub hoping to god that he was just seeing things as he coughed a bit from the impact.
The pain then disappeared,just like that.
He sat up in the tub and tried to calm his breathing as he got out of the tub his hands were shaking as he looked at himself in the mirror again.
He looked exactly like Ra-mune, word for word he realized he was even wearing the shirt that he wrote in the story, this was to specific for a prank
He even had the birthmarks on his side he never wrote anywhere that part was in his mind.

Raven went downstairs to see the fridge was empty that was stranger his parents always had something in the fridge and he didn't really feel safe at all going outside due to his situation.
He sat down sighing deeply not used to his voice at all as he stared at his reflection in the blank television he was very confused on how this could happen as he heard a knock on the door.
He jumped up off of the couch and tip toed to the door looking out the peephole.
It was cherry.
He stayed close to the door and opened the door a crack his eye illuminating in the sunlight"Oh. Hi cherry... I'm not home"he stupidly said
Cherry pushed opened the door by force and went into the living room"you promised me I could study with you."she sat on the couch her eyes closed
Raven nodded and went over grabbing his dads jacket and a beanie as he walked over his ears were twitching he hadn't even noticed his ears in the mirror as his hair and eyes were alarming enough.
Cherry tilted her head confused seeing raven sit down"you look different. What's up?"she asked taking out her homework "what's with those nerd glasses?"she chuckled
Raven looked to the side and went to play with his hair as he slapped his hand away realizing he even had the bad habits of Ra-mune
Cherry chuckled as she paused"..those..are some wicked contacts, are you in cosplay or something?"
Raven had found a perfect excuse as he nodded"Yes, I'm cosplaying as Ra-mune because it helps me write."
Oh!? Can I see?"she stood up and walked over her eyes were sparkling
Raven nodded and slowly removed his hat and coat as Cherry was shocked"That. Is...amazing. You even got his long pointy ears, how did you do that!?"she sat next to him on the couch looking at the 'cosplay' in awe
Raven froze up as he himself didn't remember the ears"I uh..glue."he stuttered and cursed under his breath
Cherry looked unconvinced as she went and grabbed onto ravens ear and pulled hard
Raven yelped in pain and grabbed onto his fine pointed ear which had turned a light reddish purple color
Cherry then continued her inspection as she looked very concerned"those are real...arnt they."she pulled on his head"this to. This is real...you didn't go get some wicked plastic surgery...did you?"
Raven nodded"its plastic surgery got it done yesterday so be careful."he lied like a boss
Cherry nodded"that's taking wanting to be a character to extreme.."she continued to stare"well, never mind that then. Let's do some math."
Raven nodded and messed with his hair unintentionally his eyes were glowing brightly yet the glow was somewhat blocked out by his glasses.

Raven walked down the street on monday wearing the beanie over his hair having not been used to his height he had a light purple bruise on his forehead he covered up with some wrap bands
He had decided to try to pretend to be a brand new person as his facial structure was even different so he went into the office hacked into the computer and register himself with the name of r,a,mune which was anything he could type in the name section for some reason and he escaped the office without being seen. He took off the beanie and walked into the commons he sat at his usual table and took out a new drawing pad and his pen.
Some people were curious as they walked over to talk to him
He sketched in his drawing book until the same fangirl sat next to him and leaned her chin in her hand her elbow placed on the table
"You know cutie the guy who made the character you are cosplaying sits there."she admired him
Raven wondered how he should react as he went with the reasonable approach"Really!? That is so cool,if you can't tell I'm a huge fan that's why I moved here"he said enthusiastically smiling brightly.
The female nodded"its super cool huh! Your cosplay is on point. Did you know his making a sequel!?"she was shaking happily
No!? Really thats awesome. I can't wait til its finished now"he pushed his glasses up his nose and messed with his hair sketching with his left hand
"I can't either! He should be here soon. Oh my names lily what yours?"
Raven looked in the girls eyes"my name is R mune. Its nice to meet you lily."
Is that your real name?"she asked a bit in disbelief
"Yeah. It is."raven rolled his eyes and went back to sketching
The female smirked"well I'll figure out your real name soon enough muney"she chuckled and jumped up walking off.
Raven walked to class sipping a bottle of ironically original ramune.
He could have sworn he packed a Pepsi or coke or something else but no, it was ramune.
He walked into class and was introduced as Ra-Mune as most of his classmates made fun of him for that.
Then lunch came,he sat down and poured his lunch out on the table and it was all,sugar. Candy everywhere.
The people watching him were in a bit of shock seeing all the candy
Raven knew he packed healthy as he pushed his lunch to the center of the table"could somebody pass me a apple or something?"he asked the people that were staring at all the sugar.
A male handed him a apple taking a few pieces of candy for himself
Raven bit into the Apple and immediately spit it out wiping his tongue it was bitter, disgusting,rotten,putrid, any word he could have used for the taste of the apple would have been negative.
He stared at his mountain of candy and pulled it closer plopping pieces in his mouth to get the taste of the apple out of his mouth, he leaned back savoring the taste of the sweet relief as his hand burned again
He put his hand up to see that instead of one there were three circles connected by a line he put his blue stained fingers on the circles and wondered what they were as the people kept staring
"Are you alright mune?"one of people asked
Raven nodded realizing the more he thought about his own life the more he couldn't find it to be his own it was more of a character he just made up he was slowly slipping as he smiled a bit"yeah I'm fine just never eating that again"he chuckled and stood up placing the wrappers in the trash in the bin and walking out of the school.
He tried to grip onto the fact that he was not really who he was right now but his memories were fading which worried him but at the same time he was calm holding onto his arm he went and sat under the bridge staring at the sky his own memories returning
He slowly drifted off to sleep but right as he did he heard a voice.
"Hey ra-mune! What are you doing here? I thought you were helping Jones. Come on lazy ass."the female kicked raven and he flew into the river
