Looking back

The beginning

It was midnight in Manchester and Dan and Phil were in their rooms on their laptops. Suddenly, they heard a loud scream coming from under their level in the apartment. Then they heard choking and spurting noises, and then foot steps. Dan quickly got up and ran to Phil's room looking confused.

Dan: what the hell was that!

Phil: I heard it too, lock the doors and close the lights off, maybe something bad happened, Dan I'm scared..

Dan: it's ok, stay in here, lock your door, I'm going to lock every door and window in the rooms, when I'm done I'll come in your room, ok? Don't be scared.

Phil nodded and Dan ran out of the room, and Phil Locked the door. Dan ran all over the apartment and locked all doors and windows, he turned off all lights and opened his phone flash. He ran to Phil's room and knocked.

Dan: Phil open the door quick.

Phil: ok come in

Dan got in and locked the door, they sat on the bed together and went under the duvet. They were both starting to panic as the footsteps were getting louder and faster. The screams were unbearable. Who was it? What's going on? Dan started to panic even more than Phil was. He was sweating and breathing fast.

Phil: Dan are you ok? Calm down, just be quiet

Dan: I- I can't

They both heard someone break down the door and jumped. Phil hushed Dan and they both stopped squirming. They lied down still, under the duvet, with total silence. Then all of a sudden. Someone knocks down Phil's door and they still stood still.

Guy: who's in hear!?

The guy walked over to the bed and saw to lumps. He uncovered them and grabbed both their wrists and threw them onto the ground. This man had a knife in his hand, aiming it at phil. Now they were really panicking. Phil started to tear, but Dan started to get dizzy, he didn't really believe what was happening.

Guy: which fag should I kill first, the ugly dip shit, or the hot bitch on the left?

Dan: what do you want!? And stop pointing that fucking knife at him!

Guy: maybe I should just fucking kill you? You ass hole..

The guy was now pointing the knife at Dan, Phil eyed his phone behind him and grabbed it. He called 911 (I forgot what the police number is in the uk) the police were on their way, since hey were only a few blocks away and they could track people's phones. Suddenly, this guy, stabs dans shoulder, making Dan scream, then pass out from losing a lot of blood. Phil shuffled back a few inches from the man, waiting for the police to come to the apartment.

Finally the police arrived before the guy could hurt Phil. After the guy got arrested and they took him away, they called an ambulance for Dan. Phil was holding Dan in his arms when the ambulance arrived, he was crying, running his fingers through dans hair and checking if he was still breathing, which he was. The assistants in the ambulance told Phil to get in, and they put Dan inside with a breathing bag on his mouth and something to keep his blood from coming out too much, so he wouldn't die on the way there.

In the hospital, Phil wouldn't leave Dan, he stayed in the room, while he was getting stitches, and while he was recovering. He was waiting for Dan to wake up.

Phil: Dan...Dan please wake up, I know I always said I wanted you to sleep because you always go to sleep late... But now I just really want you to wake up, please Dan, I love you so much, we made a promise that we wouldn't leave each other.. Please..

Phil kept saying this, his eyes became puffy, he started to tear onto dans cheeks. Dan quickly got up and tried to breathe normally. Phil cried, but laughed and smiled at the same time. He tackled Dan on the bed and was careful not to touch his shoulder.

Phil: you're awake! Don't ever leave me again.. Please never leave me like that, you scared the living poo out of me!

Phil was still on top of Dan, hugging him not letting go.

Dan: well no shit I am awake, also I promise I won't ever leave you or scare you like that again, and third living poo?

Dan laughed, with Phil still clinging onto him. Then suddenly everything was silent, Dan stopped laughing just after a few seconds and Phil still hugging him.

Dan: um Phil.. What happened to me?

Phil: uhh, I er, maybe it's best I don't say.. I don't want you to relive that moment, you almost died in front of me Dan..

Dan: no it's ok, even if it scars me for life, I just need to know what happened, all i could remember is a man, and you beside me, and screaming..

Phil explained what happened, Dan was really scarred, but he was traumatised too. So was Phil. After that they went and bought an apartment in London and left Manchester. There was still a scar on dans shoulder, stitches.
