"Yo Ry, I'm going to jump in the shower. If the bell rings go get it Ethan is coming over," my brother screams from downstairs.
"Got it!" I yell back to him.
My brother Tom is 18 and I'm 16. He's always out, or in, with his friends. His first year of college just ended, and I haven't met his new friends yet. I've seen some of their faces briefly when I went to visit Tom but I haven't really gotten to meet them. He's always posting pictures on Instagram with a few, I'm guessing, really close ones. From what I remember, their names are Joe, Nick, Pat, Dom, and Ethan.
The door bell rang and I walked downstairs to go answer it, like Tom asked me to. I open the door to see a much taller boy. He had really dark hair, hazel eyes, his hat was backwards and he had his head down staring at his phone. I unlock the screen door, "Hey you must be Ethan. I'm Tom's sister," I say with a smile. He looks up and smirks back at me.
"Yeah I'm Ethan, your name is--?"
"Rylee."
His voice was deep. How could I not drool over this kid? He was so hot.
He walked in the downstairs tv room and splats himself down on the couch. My parents were out with their friends for lunch and my sister was at her friend's house so it was just me, Tom, and Ethan. Well, me and Ethan.
I was wearing leggings and a comfy sweater and my vans. I walked over to the desktop as Ethan sat on the couch waiting for Tom, and I felt him looking at me. I'm not shy so I had to speak up. This hot ass boy in my house staring at me?
"Can I help you?" I say in a sarcastic tone with a smirk.
"Damn, I was just looking at what you were going to do on the computer, don't flatter yourself." He replies back, and I was surprised.
He wasn't shy either.
I turn back around and smile to myself, seeing him looking at me about to sit down in the spiny chair through the reflection of the screen.
I'm not fat but I'm not skinny, but I have a sort of athletic build, so I do work out sometimes. For volleyball I have to do crunches, leg lifts, squats -- all that stuff. So I knew what he was looking at.
Tom walks out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go, and he furrows his eyebrows at Ethan, because he knows what he's looking at as well.
"Hey man, that's my little sister. Let's go," I knew he was serious but then he gives a little smile at Ethan.
Ethan hops up chuckling and they both walk out of the basement.
But he turns around at the last second and gives me a quick wink as he walks away.
I know this kid is no good.
