Jackson's P.O.V
When I got to the nurses office, the nurse asked if I wanted to stay, I didn't even have to think twice before saying yes. As soon as I said that the middle aged nurse sent a note in the registers to both mine and Kelahni's classes to tell the teachers where we were. The nurse said that there weren't any major issues with Kelahni, apart from some bruises and a sprained wrist, which the nurse gave Kelahni a wrist support for. Even if Kelahni didn't have the a major injury it still killed me to see her look like that. After the bell indicating second period was over, Kelahni stirred slightly before slowly opening her gorgeous hazel eyes. "Where am I?"
Was the first thing she said and sitting up a big to abruptly making her head hurt more. I responded sounding like I don't give two shits. "The nurses office"
She seemed a little shocked to the fact that I was sitting next to her. She looked down to where both out hands were tangled together. I really didn't want to let go, it just felt so right. Damn I sound like fucking girl who's hopelessly in love😪 Obviously I let go, but something about the way her face looked after letting go seemed like she wanted to hold my hand as much as I wanted to hold her hand. Either way she washed that look away and asked "How come your here, and also please explain to me what I'm doing in the nurses office and for how long."
Even when she should sound frustrated she was the most politest girl I've ever met, damn would my parents love her...
"Your so called friend Lucy was being a bitch, and most likely by looking at your bruises and your wrist hit y-"
"Don't worry I remember what happened now.."
"You've been here since the start of second period by the way..."
The was she shot up after I said that was the most terrifying thing I had seen in my life. I thought she was going to hurt herself more than she already has." I can't believe I missed second period, my parents are going to kill me!"
Now that explains the random outburst which nearly have me a heart attack." Don't worry the school called your parents telling them what happened and said if you don't feel well you can go home"
I regretted saying that, as I though what if she does go home? I won't be able to see her till tomorrow if she even comes into school. She responded with her beautiful smile," Nah, don't worry I think I'll be fine for the rest of the day."
That put a smile on my face immediately, but quickly shook it off when I saw Kelahni had seen my change of expression.
Awkwardly coughing I quickly muttered a "Cool, I guess I'll see you around"
Swiftly leaving the room not letting her respond.
