"Chris? Chris? Pick up the phone! Please!" I screamed into his voicemail, even though it was useless.

He was gone. Where had he gone? Why? He was only a fourteen year-old! I started hyperventilating again and took deep breaths to calm myself down.

He had just packed up his bags and left! Why did this have to happen to me of all the people in the world? Why me? Why did my happy world have to fall apart so quickly? Why did it have to be Chris that had left? Why not someone else in this town?

3 years later

The bubble popped as I blew the pink bubble gum. I put on a whole lot of eyeliner and mascara to finish my look. I know I'm probably the only girl who chewed bubble gum while doing her make-up, but I didn't care. I never cared anymore. Not after my best friend had left me alone.

Yes, I'm sure you've probably noticed something different about me. I'm not that happy fourteen year-old girl anymore. I'm emo. This didn't happen right after... he left, I changed slowly, and now my old self is fully gone.

I put on my usual clothing, black tank top with a black hoodie to top it off, and, of course, my beloved red skinny jeans. The hoodie was one from when I was fourteen so it was pretty snug, it did make me seem skinnier since it hugged my body so tightly. It was the exact hoodie I was wearing three years ago.

I gave a cold laugh as I remembered the police saying that they were searching so hard for him, I knew they were lying though. Everyone said that I was just a girl who was a shell of the old Emily Harrison.

I picked up my old Jansport back pack which, of course, was black. I dreaded the first day of school. I always ended up seeing Cole Livingston, a guy that came to our school last year and took reign on our school. I didn't really mind that, the only thing I minded was that he had a slight resemblance to...him.

I didn't really see Cole that much, only a few glances at each other when we had the same class together. I mean, why would a popular want to ruin their reputation by hanging with an emo chick.

I rolled my eyes at the comment I made in my head as I rushed out the door to meet the little group of friends that I had. Their was Maddie, Evelyn, and, of course, the two best friends, Joel and Danny. They were basically brothers to each other. I swear they could read each others' minds!

"Hey Emily!" Maddie and Evelyn said in sync. They sounded happy but they truly weren't. No matter what you thought at first when they talked cheerfully, it was all an act for their parents. They always did their make up and clothes at school on the bathroom.

Yep, this is the life I've been leading ever since he left, I hope you enjoy reading about me, even if I don't make it....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love Emily! She's officially the best character I've ever made, and you don't even know her past, the things she has kept secret! I hope you enjoy this story, I also hope that you guys love the characters.
Any who, I deleted she never moved on because I just wasn't feeling the love I had for my story anymore. It bored me to write it so I just quit. Sorry for those of you who really liked it!
