My mind flickered back and forth over that one possible decision as i lay silently in the bath tub. It was life or death and I couldn't possibly live in this world that is full of so much hatred, but i didn't want to leave my mother at least not without her knowing.
My thoughts began to seep out of my mouth and before i knew it I was murmuring.
"Why should I have to deal with this crap? Why can't I, for once be the important one that everyone cares about like my horrible little brother Trevor. He's pathetic!"
My words suddenly came to a stop as I heard foot steps from in the hallway, It must've been my father. As i quickly tried to stand up and get out of the bath tub I slipped on the soap i'd forgotten to put away and fell into the head of the tap. After that all I saw was black.
As I began to wake I realized that I wasn't actually alive anymore at least, i didn't think i was. I stared at my body in amazement trying to understand how i could be here looking at myself as if i was looking into a mirror. In a sudden out burst i screamed, but it wasn't a frightened scream at all, it was joyful as if I was finally free from my old life and able to get on with my new one as a spirit. i ran out into the hall and rolled down the stairs and through the wall into my backyard. I landed softley on the grass and I was surprised when i could feel the cool, wet sensation dripping down from the sky in small drops of water.
I was not often surprised, but this was different it was beautiful. It was like i'd never seen the world like this, as if all it'd been was a pile of coal when it could've been a stack of gold. I never wanted this feeling to stop!
It seemed like a second after this happened I'd walked onto a street and someone had seen me, but this someone wasn't human. For a moment i thought that she could've been and then i walked up to her to get a closer look and noticed something strange about her, she looked at me and smiled and she had sharp, pointy fangs ripping through her gums. Her eyes were a deep blood red colour and her hair was a black, curly mess. She was as pale as the snow falling around us.
She looked like a vampire, "but I ...I" I stuttered, "Vampires aren't real and y ...y ...... you can't exist!!" I was scared, "Could she hurt me? would she?" I thought in deep denial. I glanced back over at the vampire woman and saw her reach over to touch me. As her hand landed on my shoulder I cringed as if she was going to hurt me. "How is it she can touch me? Why am I experiencing this for the first time?"
"Who are you?" a small whisper came out of the vampires mouth, "I'm Naddia" I said in a short whimpering tone. "Pleased to meet you Naddia, I am Scinthiya Paretha." I was in shock when Scinthiya spoke in such a proud and frightfully loud tone that I almost jumped. "You should probably return home and get some rest" "Oh my god, I don't think she knows i'm dead" My thoughts shot out of my mouth in a very spiteful tone, "don't you know i'm DEAD!!!" I know it was probably quite harsh but It only seemed to make her smile more. A look of despair searged onto my face and before I knew it I was crying. In the midst of my crying I began to notice everything around me start to fade away as though I was just having a sick dream.
