"I can't believe I have to where this ugly uniform!" I sighed to myself as I looked in the mirror with a disgusted face.
Today, would mark my first time going into a school for a whole year. I had previously been homeschooled by my mom, and she finally thought it was time for my younger sister and I to be placed into an actual school (if you could actually call it that).
We would be placed into our churches school, which I at first thought would be fine.
But when I arrived, I knew my life would never be the same.
We arrived late that fact did not surprise me at all. For as always, my mom thought it was better to be late than to leave something behind. We soon entered the school building, which also doubled as the church I attend. At this point, I was trying my hardest to get my self mentally ready for anything.
And was so scared, that my mom literally had to threaten me in order for my body to enter the room.
The room I entered was small and a little snug. We had to meet in this room, becuase the rooms normally used for the school itself was currently under inspection.
I was pretty nervous, and almost tripped over myself before finding a seat. I was utterly flabbergasted becuase I actually saw some people I knew. (Just because I say know that doesn't mean they knew me).
The person that really caught my eye was a girl sitting across from me.
She had dark blonde hair, and blue eyes.
She smiled at me, and I gave her the same smile with a little less effort.I soon remember her name and the past with it. I remembered our friendship from years ago, and how miscommunication does slow down a friendship.
Ire (the girl I was literally just talking about), then takes the time to greet all of us equally and then sits down next to this guy.
You know when you know the name of someone, and see them around but never know anything about them? That was the case with this guy. I was just trying to place him, when suddenly without warning this sassy girl walks in.
She couldn't have looked more than eight, but I was utterly surprised to find out she was eleven. She had black hair, brown eyes, and a childish figure.
Her first statement is a little foggy in my memory, but I know it was something about losers and her having it bad because she had to be with us.
I would have said something, but I had no words in my mind that could express how I was feeling. And at that time I was still trying to piece myself together with super clue, so that the slightest chance of me falling apart would be lowered to an 80%.
I figured that if I looked hard enough I would get to know some people without even talking.(Warning, this strategy only works if ur a pro listener like me).
This tactic meant, that I would get to know them without them actually knowing me.
The trap was set, and my ears were on high alert. The only thing between me and friendship was "oh no! Me! "
I thought it over and sighed quietly to myself saying in a whisper "this is going to be a long school year."
