my sanity's like water

it takes

a gesture so small

to set it waving

to cause a swirl inside my heart

that's probably the art

of being human

and I just wanna barf

at how easily

someone can-

oh no- will do this

maybe

it's like a game

(water's too pure

too light and heavy

to be for me)

that free one

that everyone is bored of

but still cannot stop playing

because it's easy

nostalgic even

it's easier for me

just to give up

and let them play

but often there are days

when I refuse to
