Annabeth POV
"Hello?" I asked, picking up the phone that I thought was mine.
"Hey, this is Piper, right?" A male voice asked. This must be Piper's phone.
"No, I'm not Piper!"
"Oh, well, do you want to go to a toga party?"
"No I don't want to go to a toga party!" I hung up my phone and walked up to the door and knocking.
"Annabeth, come on in." Mrs. Gardner said, opening the door as a little girl started throwing glitter at her father.
"Miranda! Stop throwing glitter at me!" Mr. Gardner complained.
"But I'm just trying to make you sparkly!" Miranda complained as a 14 year old girl walked in, looking angry.
"Okay," Mrs. Gardner said. "Here is some money for ice cream. We will be back in a couple hours. Katie! At least try to be nice to Annabeth!"
Katie groaned, then waved hello.
"We'll clean up this glitter mess, and then we'll figure something out. And don't worry. I'll guard them with my life. Bye!" Mr. And Mrs. Gardner walked out of the door as I turned to Miranda. "Okay Miranda, let's start cleaning up."

"Hello? Piper!" I almost yelled as someone picked up on my phone.
"No, this is Thalia." Said the voice.
"Th-Thalia Grace? Why are you on my phone?" I asked.
"What are you talking about? This is the babysitter's phone."
"T-the babysitter's? Can you put her on?"
"Sorry. She's a little busy putting out the fire in the kitchen."
"Thalia, stay put. I'm coming." I hung up and grabbed my keys. "Miranda! Katie! Come on! We're going to the Stoll household!"
Piper POV
"Hey kiddo!" I greeted as a little girl opened the door. She promptly closed it as I huffed. Suddenly, another woman opened the door.
"Hello! You must be Piper!" She greeted, holding out her hand. "I'm Dr. Helen Stoll, excuse my daughter Thalia. She's sulking because she can't go to the Hunter's roller derby tonight. Anyway, how do you know Annabeth?"
"We met in Geometry class." I sorta lied. "We bonded over our love of children and... geometry."
"Okay, well, I have a couple ground rules. No using the oven, no hot tub, and it would be amazing if you popped in a load of laundry!"
"No oven, no hot tub, laundry. Got it!" I said as Mr. Stoll walked over.
"Be careful with our little darlings." He said. "Wait, what am I saying? You were recommended by Annabeth! Of course you'll take care of them! We will be back. And before we forget, don't do anything stressful with Mrs. O'Leary. She has a dog contest tomorrow."
"Okay, and don't worry, she taught me everything I know. They'll be fine."
I waved good bye as they left and Conner walked up. "Can you try this? I'm entering this contest tomorrow, and I need the perfect icing for my cupcakes. This is made from melted gummy bears."
I dipped a finger in. "Good, but I think you can kick it up a notch."
I walked over to the laundry and put in the load, putting in to much detergent as I looked at the blue bathing suit that was calling my name. I quickly changed into it as I walked outside and grabbed a towel. "Hot tub out back?"
Conner nodded as I walked out there. Even before I got in, I heard screams coming from the house. I quickly ran back.
"What's going on you little- Oh shoot!" I grabbed the fire extinguisher and put out the fire on the stove. "That was awesome! Let me go grab my camera!"

"Hey! Open up you little twerps!" I screamed.
"What is going on here!?" Annabeth screeched behind me.
"Oh, hey girl friend!" I said nervously as the door opened up and I fell on my butt.
"I am not your girl friend! Where are the children?" Annabeth ran inside, along with two children. I stood up and followed them. "What happened!?"
"Something." I quickly took a picture and grabbed my clothes.
"One, two, three, four- Where's Travis!?" Annabeth freaked.
"Who?" I asked as Thalia ran up the stairs and opened a door.
"He's gone!" Thalia yelled, grabbing a hidden tablet from under the bed. "And it looks like he went to the Siren's concert."
"How could you let this happen!?" Annabeth screeched again.
"Calm down girl friend, we'll just go into the city and find him. I have some friends there that can help."
"Yeah, like I'm gonna trust your friends. Also, I'm not your girl friend, I'm not even your friend!"
Thalia perked up. "But our mom thinks that you know her."
"You lied to the parents!?" Annabeth screeched again.
"I'm really getting tired of your screeching." I stated, rubbing my ears and changing the subject. "Anyway, is your car even big enough?"
Annabeth sighed.
"Wait!" Conner said. "Mom left the van in the garage! But she left it locked and took the keys with her."
Annabeth groaned. "Fine! Piper, call your friends!"
"Pleasure doing business with you." I quickly grabbed my phone from Annabeth and dialed a quick phone number.
"Hey Piper!" Leo picked up on the second ring. "I thought you couldn't come to the toga party? Decided to change your mind?"
I looked at Annabeth and mouthed 'toga party?' Annabeth shrugged helplessly. "Sorry Leo, I'm... babysitting. Listen, I need to borrow the van. Do you mind leaving the party to pick us up?"
"Us?"
"My rival in the photo internship, her charges, and my charges. Again, do you mind picking us up?"
Leo sighed on the other end. "I'll have to convince Hazel, Frank, Calypso, and Jason to leave with me."
"I really need your help Repair Boy." I said, almost begging.
"Fortunately for you, we're wearing clothes under our togas this time."
"TMI dude."
"Look, we're coming. Text Jason the address. We'll be there soon." Leo hung up as I looked at Annabeth.
"Do you know the address?"
Annabeth rattled off the numbers as I typed them in my phone and sent it to Jason. "Why did you need to know that?"
"My friends are gonna pick us up."
"If these are the friends that invited me to the toga party, I don't think that's a good idea."
"Oh come on! There's enough room in their van for all of us! We have to!"
Annabeth sighed. "Fine. But if any of these kids get in jail, I will personally beat you up."
I gulped, suddenly afraid of the tiny blonde. "Understood."
