They both sprinted to ICCY after they were dismissed from school. Wendy managed to get there first and waited for Mark to arrive. When he did, she smiled.

"Hi bestie!"

"Friend-zoning me already."

"Correction: I'm best friend-zoning you."

"Isn't that worse?"

"Best friends can turn into romantic partners, so no, that isn't worse."

"Perhaps we can turn into romantic partners."

"Perhaps we will."

Wendy opened the door for Mark and walked behind him.

"You're supposed to let me open the door for you. I should be the gentleman."

"That's nonsense. I can open the door for you and be the gentleman. No need for you to always have to do that!"

"Alright, but you deserve to be treated as a lady."

"You already do treat me as one."

"Then a princess."

"Aren't I already your princess?"

"True."

She grinned and giggled.

"Let's order some ice cream cakes!"

"I can buy them for you."

"How about we share a cake and we each pay half?"

"That works."

They purchased a red velvet ice cream cake and shared it.

"Mark, open your mouth!"

"Why?

Wendy placed her spoon filled with ice cream cake into his mouth.

He chuckled and swallowed it.

"Thanks for that."

"No problem."

She stuck out her tongue and ate the ice cream cake.

Mark came up with a sneaky plan.

He suddenly made a double chin and crossed his eyes, making Wendy laugh and from there he stuck the ice cream cake into her mouth.

"Looks like I got my revenge."

"Very sweet revenge!"

Wendy checked her phone for the time and realized she had leave.

"I have to get going. I really need to study for my test tomorrow!"

She dashed out of her seat and Mark replied, "Good luck!"

She was almost out of the store until she noticed she left Mark hanging. She returned to her seat and responded, "Thank you!" and kissed Mark's cheek. She quickly exited and blushed heavily.

I'm so sorry for the late update! I kind of lost interest in Wattpad after the app started being glitchy and made it hard for me to update.
