Chapter 29

- 2 days later -

    I woke up in a hospital bed. "Hi love", smiled Chris. I instantly smiled back. Suddenly, the smiled faded. "Why am I here? What's going on?"
"You got beat up the other day pretty badly." answered Chris. I didn't know I asked that out loud. Before I could say anything back Mikey and Luke came rushing in. They gave me the biggest hug and I swear to god it lasted a million dang years.

     They pulled apart "Ohmygosh Madison we are all so glad you are okay. You haven't been awake much the last few days. Don't worry everything's okay and we have been here everyday checking in on you. The girls were here but they left to go change, and get everyone some breakfast." Said Mikey.

  "I'm so glad you're okay Mads. Thank god I was so scared." Luke said.

   "Guys, guys, she just woke up. Don't bombard her. I haven't even gotten to say much." Chuckled Chris.

"Oh oh oh!!! We'll give you guys a few minutes." Winked Mikey, and with that they left the room.

"Madison I'm so sorry I didn't get out in time. I'm sorry I couldn't save you. I'm sorry we didn't get to fulfill our date. I'm sorry you're here, in this mess. It's my job to protect you. I like you Madison I really do, and you deserve the world. You deserve every damn piece of it and I just-" I interrupted him with a kiss. Damn I'm falling hard. How could you not though? He is the sweetest guy you will ever meet. We pulled apart.

"Thank you for everything Chris. Thank you so much." He smiled, "anything for you."
We hugged each other tightly then he just sat down and held my hand. He told me everything I missed. Luke and Reagan were finally official! Praiseee. I looked at my bedside table and there were so many flowers and balloons and cards from all my youtuber friends. I picked up my phone. Flooded with texts and tweets and best wishes I didn't look at any. I simply took a picture of me in my hospital bed with my entire world holding my hand. "Thanks for all the wishes. Glad to say I am recovering and spending time with my favorite☺️💞" I clicked on the tweet button. Chris's phone vibrated. He took it out and checked it. "Awwwww babe!!" He said. I smiled so big.
He kissed me once more. We pulled apart right before the nurse came in.

"I'm glad to see you're awake. You look well" the nurse smiled.

"I feel pretty great" I replied.

"Good! I'm glad! I checked your charts and everything seems well. We just have to prescribe you a few medications, get you some crutches, and you already have your cast on so then you'll be able to go. You will have to go see a doctor in a few weeks though."

"Sweet!! Thank you so much!" I said. Man I just woke up and I get to go home. Thank god.
