I put on my shirt and ran downstairs. I grabbed my jacket and my keys and went out the door. I got into my car and turned it on..

Tonight was gonna be perfect. Tonight was mine and Olive's date not his.

-Evans POV-



As I was driving to Olivia's house I was thinking about how I would go through with my plan. I couldn't just waltz in, grab her and go. Chris couldn't know about me and Olive having any other kind of relationship other than being family friends and of course teacher/student.

What the heck was I going to do? Of course Chris sort of had an idea of what me and Olive really are, but could I really risk him knowing the whole truth?

The kids a pain in the ass, and if he ever knew the truth, im pretty sure I'd have a one way ticket to jail.

I didn't realise that I was at her house until a car honked behind me.

'Bastards' I thought to myself. Its not like I've been stopped in the same spot for hours....

After I built up the courage to get out of my car I walked up her steps and knocked on her door.

Mark opened the door and smiled at me.

"Hey Evan, come on in" Mark said

"Thanks Mark" I said to him while trying to look around for Olivia.

"Want a beer, theres plenty of them so no need to refuse" Mark stated.

"Uh, well actually Mark, I'm here for Olivia. Is she upstairs?" I asked.

Mark stopped and looked at me. He had this nervous look in his eyes and I knew exactly what he was gonna say.

"Im sorry Evan, she just left with a guy named Chris to go on a date." Mark said "I'll tell you one thing though Evan, I don't approve of him. She's better off with you"

'Great now what am I gonna do' I thought bitterly to myself. "Thanks Mark, I'll come by tomorrow and maybe we can have that beer" I smiled at him

"That'd be great Evan" Mark said, patting me on the back. "See you tomorrow kiddo"

I glared at him when he called me that but said goodbye otherwise.

'Now what should I do, let them have their date or go and crash it somehow..' I thought to myself. While getting into my car and turning it on. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and checked it out.

I got a text from Mike saying that he just saw Olivia and Chris on their date.

Thank you Mike I was thinking.

"The latter it is" I told myself while smirking.

-Chris' POV-

As I got to Olivias house I couldn't help but feel excited. I was finally getting my chance with her. I turned off my car, and ran up her steps to knock on her door

I was anxious, what if she changes her mind, and slams the door in my face. I started making sure everything looked fine.

I was checking my breath when the door opened. 'Great, my first impression is me checking my breath' I thought to myself.

The man which im guessing is her dad looked at me funny. "and you are.." he said

No hello, rude much. Well I guess I'd do the same thing.

"Uh hi sir, I'm Chris" I said while shaking his hand "I'm here to take your daughter out on a date" I said lastly.

He smiled and said "So your Chris huh? My daughter sure knows how to pick em" he stated while looking me up and down stifling a laugh while he was doing so.

"Olivia, your dates here hunny" He shouted while inviting me in.

I thanked him while he eyed me. Damn this guy was intimidating..

"Uhhhh..." was all I could get out before Olivia ran down the stairs.

She smiled at me and than looked at her dad and laughed. "Dad you can stop staring at him, your making him feel uncomfortable" She told her dad.

I gave her a thankful look which she nodded at. Then she grabbed my hand and started for the door. "Have her back before 11 no later, got that kid?" He told me

"Yes s...sir" I said. Olivia said her goodbye than we were off. "Sorry about my dad, he's just protective" She told me when we got into my car.

"Its no problem, lucky you got there before I said anything stupid" I said with a goofy smile. She laughed and than we were off.

Tonight is gonna be memorable.
