Do you know that feeling in the morning you get. When you first wake up. You get that half a second. That half a second of pure bliss. And then you wake up. The first time of the day I get mad! Why? Why only half a second why not a little longer? As you can see this makes me not a morning person...

After losing that half a second I get out of bed and head straight to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I brush my hair, and teeth and put on my out fit for the day, a grey sweatshirt and high waisted shorts along with white converse. When I'm done I go downstairs to see my lovely family eating breakfast without me.

"Wow, thank you so much for waiting for me," I say drawing their attention.

"Hey, we don't have all day to wait for you to finish getting ready for the day," my father says.

"Well hey to you too mister cause I just got ready in like twenty minutes so ha!" I reply.

"Okay you two calm down, and Madison sit your butt down to eat. You are not just eating an apple. We need to get some skin on those bones," my mother says.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," I respond.

When me and my brother are done with breakfast we walk to the pack house, yeah did I forget to mention I'm a werewolf? Technically I'm human though cause us girls don't actually turn into wolves, we just carry the gene. And I know what your thinking cause I'm thinking the same thing... The moon goddess has obviously never heard of girl power, I mean who would of thought she would be sexist... Not me, I mean she is a girl... Well I am technically a werewolf, anyways right now me and my brother are walking to the pack house (it's like twenty ft. away...) for school. Are whole pack is home schooled and in high school we chose a trade and learn all about that one trade. You see everyone has a job in the pack, so we learn a trade to do that job. I'm in Early Childhood so when I'm older I'll take care of all the little kids in the pack, while Maddox (my twin) is in carpentry with his bestfriend, and future beta, Adam. My best friend Carly is in Medical, because she wants to be a doctor. Her mate and future gamma, Evan, is in electrical.

There is only one other person in my class/trade and it just so happens to be the one person I hate in my pack, Tori. You know how everyone has that frenemy. She is my personal frenemy although most of the time she's just my enemy. Long story short I'm pretty sure she was placed on this earth to personally ruin my life. The little bitch! This is the second time I get mad today! See, me being mad is an actual problem. Any ways when I get to the pack house we see Carly, Evan and Adam. Carly is my best friend, Evan and Adam is Maddox's best friend we've all grew up together. Adam is also studying to be a carpenter along with Maddox, and he will be Maddox's beta when Maddox takes the alpha role. We go over to them and sit down waiting for our teachers to call us to class.

"Hey Carl," I say to Carly. Long story short she hates when I call her that, but in reality she deserves it she used to have nice long her like me but then she cut it short so I decided to call her Carl, it's her punishment for cutting it so short.

"Really Mads, when are you going to quit calling me that? So not cool. You know I hate it," she responds. Though I ignore her.

"Adam," I say dryly he all of a sudden stop talking to me after his sixteenth birthday and first shift. It still kind of stings I used to have a major crush on him, now I barely tolerate him. The only time he does actual speak to me is when he says 'hi' back.

"Madison, stop being such a bitch and leave Adam alone," Maddox says annoyed, and I honestly don't blame him, he is extremely hung over from last night, when him and some of our classmates snuck in the woods and had their very own drinking party. Because of the person I am though I still get mad at his attitude, and just walk away going to class early. I mean this is like the third time I get mad this morning and I know I'll say something I'll regret if I don't walk away, so that's what I do.

I run away, the easiest thing I can do, run...
