~Marley's PoV~
I spent all last night, replaying the scene that happened with Ash. Now it's six thirty in the morning, and here I am, laying on my bed blinded by the sun. I stay in bed for a while, before I then finally decide to get up and have a shower. I rip the duvet off of me, the cold air nipping at my skin. I slowly get up and exit my room, walking to the bathroom across the hallway.
I close and lock the door when I hear a groan. "Don't take ages in there Marley!" Mason shouts through the door as I sigh responding with a yeah.
I turn on the shower and let it run for a while as I strip from my clothes and hop in. After my quick shower I got changed into a flannel shirt and normal jeans, and boots. As usual. It was Tuesday morning, and usually on Tuesday's Asher would pick me up and leave me at home. But this morning I highly doubt he will.
I make my way downstairs and take my seat at the table. It was only mum and I in the kitchen. She sends me a look as I sit down. "Mornin' Mar, are you going to help me out later after school with collecting the eggs?" She asks with an eyebrow raised. I nod my head.
"Yeah defiantly, what's for breakfast?" I ask looking at the empty table. It would usually be all laid out.
"Well, our cows aren't making as much milk right now, we'll have to sort it out but for now all you can eat is toast, because I couldn't be bothered going down and getting some eggs." She admits and I nod laughing slightly at her sheepish smile.
I pick up some bread and toast it. Then Mason and Noah make their way down the stairs pushing and nudging each other. I raise my eyebrow and they just grin at me. I take a seat at the table, soon joined with the two baboons.
"Heard Asher is fonduing with Ingrid Lyndon." Mason smirks at me, Noah just laughs at him and my expression. I send Mason a glare and slap him in the shoulder.
"You do realise fondue is just dipping bread into the cheese using long-stemmed forks?" I say with venom. I turn my back to my twin and focus on the clock.
"Is he picking you up today?" Jake suddenly appears from nowhere. I slowly shrug a shoulder. I want him to, but then I don't, I don't know really. I'm still annoyed at him and Ingrid.
"He's probably just a bit late sweetheart, don't listen to the boys." She smiles at me, quickly resting a hand on my shoulder them leaving my side once again. I sigh and glare at my three bothers.
Then the door opens and I turn around seeing a familiar face. I turn back to the table and begin eating my food. I finish off and get up grabbing my backpack and heading out the door grabbing Asher's arm, dragging him away from the conversation he was having with Mason.
Asher yells a goodbye as mum shuts the door keeping the cold breeze out of the warm house. I sigh and release him getting into the truck and shutting the door. I shiver and hug my jacket to my body.
Ash jumps into the drivers seat and sends me a look, when I notice Ingrid sitting in the back seat. "Good morning." I mutter turning back and looking out the window.
"You live here?" Ingrid bursts into fits of laughter. Ash shushes her before speaking.
"I like it here, it's homely, just like my second home and family." He says with a genuine smile, making me feel extremely guilty for being annoyed at him.
Ingrid shuts her mouth and sits back huffing at her boyfriends genuineness for my home and family. Mason then runs out of the house with his backpack on and hops into the backseat.
