Chapter 3

A/N: I'm finally back! Yay! I'm really happy to finally get this story rolling and introduce the reader to the canon characters and stuffs. I hope you enjoy reading this chapter!

It turns out that the town was a lot farther than it appeared.

She had been walking for an hour, yet she was still pretty far.

She let out an exausted groan and sat down, burrying her face in her hands.

She had only been sitting there for 5 minutes before she heard a very soft voice voice.

"HEY! ARE YOU OKAY? CAN YOU PLEASE HELP US?!"

The young girl glanced up and saw three tiny figures in the distance frantically waving their arms around ot gain her attention.

She quickly calculated the long distance between them and realized that at the slow pace they were walking at, it would take about 10 minutes until they met.

With a slight groan, the female got up and proceeded to speed walk towards the figures.

Due to the fact that she was a fast walker, she met up with them in only 3 minutes. There was only about 50 feet between them now, and the 3 figures looked ecstatic. They were practically skipping towards the young girl, and she could faintly see sparkles floating around them. She could also hear them mumble things such as "Our savior~" and "Thank you, Tet!"

"Excuse me?" She called calmly.

The figures- whom she could now see were men wearing close to nothing- snapped out of their stupor and were about to respond when they suddenly let out terrifying shrieks. The unexpected noise caused the girl to jump and cover her ears as they ran back where they came from.

Could they have been any louder?! And do I really look that terrible?

As she stared blankly at their quickly retreating forms, she faintly heard cries of "WEREBEAST!" and "MONSTER!".

....Maybe she did look terrible.

Despite the strange encounter, she was pleased that it wasn't as boring as it could have been. Instead, it had been almost comical and...funny.

She shrugged her shoulders and decided to continue on her way to the town. It was even closer now, and she could see the bright colors of houses and buildings. What intrugued her the most however, was the large castle towering over everything.

Once she finally made it to the town, she tried her best to evade any humans (which was fairly easy since she was quite used to doing it in school). After all, she didn't want anyone seeing her when she looked like this.

While she was walking, she had decided to find whoever was in charge. That way, she may be able to get some idea as to why she was here.

On her way to the castle, the (e/c) eyed female heard a large racket going on in what appeared to be a church.

Many people seemed to be avoiding the building at all costs, and so she decided to investigate.

She came across a large window and saw what appeared to be a very intense game of chess.

Inside the room, there was a life size chess game going on. There was a young girl with purple hair on the black side, and 3 people on the white side. One of which was a younger looking girl with long silver-blue hair and red eyes. Another one was a really good looking guy that looked my age with spiky maroon hair and red eyes as well. The third person was a girl with short pink hair and blue eyes that turned toward me at that moment. She appeared to give a loud yelp as she frantically pulled at the guy's shirt. She pointed at (y/n)'s general direction and before the guy could turn, she quickly ducked out of their view.

What the heck just happened? I must look even worse than I thought...

As she sulked, she could hear more shouts erupt from the building along with noises that could only come from a heated battle.

Soon after, she heard loud wails along with hurried footsteps nearing where she was.

Alarmed, (y/n) quickly spotted a carriage nearby and climbed into it and struggled to get under one of the seats.

She stayed there for a couple of moments before the 3 people she saw from the white team stepped into the carriage. The two females sat on the opposite seat while the guy sat on the seat she was under. Everything was silent for a few moments before the she heard the pink haired girl speak.

"Sora...what is that?" She cried as she stared at something on the floor.

"Hmm? Oh yeah, what is this?" He mumbled as he grabbed the object everyone was looking at.

(Y/N) yelped loudly as she felt a hand grab...something attached to her body. She had never felt something like that before and was extremely surprised.

She felt the hand pull her from under the seat and heard gasps emit from everyone in the vehicle.

"IT'S HER! See Sora? I told you I wasn't crazy about seeing a Werebeast outside!" The pinkette cried.

(Y/N) felt a hand plant itself onto her head and begin petting her. To her surprise, it felt really good.

"I guess you were right, Steph. Though, you failed to mention she was this cute.

A strange motor noise came from her chest and she gave yet another small yelp.

She pushed the strangers away from her and tried her best to revert to her calm, blank facade as she stared at them. Then she spoke in a calm, cold voice.

"What the hell is going on?"
