"Yoongi is with his family on vacation and my parents are away with work business, would it be okay if I stayed here for a week or so?" Jimin asked as Jin's mom opened the door.

"Of course! I was just about to make dinner, would you like some? Or did you already eat?" She asked. Jimin was the closest thing that Mrs. Kim had to a son now that SeokJin was gone. Seokjin's dad had been dead for years, and now so was Jin.

"Sure~ what're you making?" Jimin asked as he entered the house, sitting down at the spot where Jin used to sit at the table.

"Chicken Bulgogi." She said as she flipped the chicken around on the grill. Chicken was one of Jin's favorite foods, that Jimin had grown to love because of Jin.

After eating and talking a bit, Jimin went off to Jin's old room, still in the state he had left it. The bed neatly made, figurines placed perfectly on the shelf, posters perfectly straight on the wall.

Jimin sat down at the desk, where Jin's phone, computer, and polaroid camera were. There was a small stack of pictures next to a photo book, that Jin never finished putting in. It was all old memories of them. Pictures taken from the polaroid camera as well as his phone.

Jimin remembered every picture like they happened yesterday, like the time Jimin tried to show Jin how to play basketball, and when Jin showed Jimin how to play Mario. There was the time when they went to the beach and they caught a bunch of sand crabs, and even sad memories, like when Jimins grandpa died and SeokJin comforted him. Some of these pictures were taken by Seokjin's mom, she wanted them to have memories, even sad ones.

He logged into Jin's computer and looked through everything, not finding much, except for video game related stuff. He looked into a drawer that had a diary that Jimin did not know about.

The first entry, dated back to middle school, before they had started dating.

"Today I got my new Mario game... I was so excited so I went and told Jimin, my best friend. He clearly wasn't as excited as I was, but he acted excited for me."

A few entries later,

"I really like Jimin... but I don't think he likes me back... he's always playing basketball with Yoongi. Oh well.... it probably wouldn't work out anyways."

Alot of entries later,

"I ASKED JIMIN OUT TODAY AND HE SAID YES!!! I'm so happy I feel like I could run a thousand miles!"

The last entry,

"I found out that I have a tumor in my brain that I have to get removed. I'm actually pretty scared... and I know Jimin is gonna be too... I don't want him to be scared... I want him to be happy...and if I die... I wish there was still some way to protect him, even from the afterlife. The next page is to my love, Park Jimin."

He looked to the next page and saw it was ripped out, that was where the note Yoongi gave him was, so he took the note that was in his pocket and placed it back in the diary, closing it and hugging it as if that was actually Jin.

-

Jimin awoke in Jin's old bed, that still smelled faintly like him. He cuddled the doll, wandering why it came alive, or if this was all just some elaborate dream.

He decided the best thing to do was see if a psychic could figure something out.

-

He opened the door of the local psychics place, to see a man sitting at the table in a dark hood. "Hello ... my name is -"Jimin started to say.

"Park Jimin. And you want to know what's happening with your doll".

"Yes."

"I am Taehyung... may I see your doll?"

"Sure." Jimin said, handing the doll to Taehyung.

Taehyung put the doll on the table, and brought out a match, lighting the doll on fire.

"NO DON'T BURN IT!"Jimin yelled in shock .

"Calm down."Taehyung said as he poured a bottle of water on it. It wasn't burned at all, even though it was just on fire, and it didn't even seem to be wet either.

"Do you know why it only summons him when I'm in danger?"

"No, but with the test I just did I can tell that the spell cannot be broken, and the doll cannot be destroyed. You have a guardian for life. I would like to run one more test before you go, and I don't want you to get scared, the gun is loaded, but my hand is going to be away from the trigger and I am not going to shoot. Okay?"

"Alright." Jimin said as Taehyung pulled a gun on him, pointing at his head.

Nothing happened, Jin didn't appear.

"It is only real danger that he responds to. The spirit does not have enough energy to be active all the time, it only comes when you are truly in danger. The reason he didn't come just now was because I wouldn't shoot you, and he knows that. By theory, the only one that can break the spell and destroy the doll would be you."

"Why?"

"Because SeokJin only protects you, he cared so much for you that if you were to not want him anymore, he wouldn't have been able to live. That's why he protects you, it's like his last attempt to be with you was his spirit practically possessing that doll. If you were to destroy him, he wouldn't be your guardian any more, he would be sent to wherever is next."

"Where is that?"

"No one knows. Not even me. No one can tell you what truly happens once you die."

"So. If I kept him with me he would continue to protect me?"

"Yes."

"Thank you so much Taehyung, I owe you big time."Jimin said as he left the shop.
