2004
{The Meeting}
Seven year old Emma's feet creaked on the wooden floor of her new school. From Malibu, California to Toronto, Canada. Why such a long move? Emma's parents had been divorced because they were both done with all of the fights and arguements. Little Emma had to choose between her mother her father. She chose her mom because she knew her dad couldn't take care of her. Of course, she was devastated about the split but, she just had to move on. The past is the past, now let's move onto the future.

All eyes were on her as Mrs.Carvals, Emma's teacher, bent down to Emma's height and wrapped her arm around Emma's shoulder."Class, this is our new classmate and friend, Emma West."

I guess you can say she was a social butterfly, but at this moment, she was very shy. Emma gave a small wave. Mrs.Carvals lead Emma to her new seat inbetween a boy and girl. They both looked very friendly. Emma looked at the girl first and observed her very closely. She had light tan skin with blonde hair. She also had enormous bright blue eyes."Hey there Emma! My names Hailey."the girl said with a cheerful voice. Emma smiled widely and the two shook hands.

Then, Emma turned to the boy. He had short brown hair with brown eyes. He had a lazy left eye which Emma thought was pretty adorable."Hi Emma West! The names Shawn."the boy said. Emma laughed at the sound of someone saying her first and last name.

"Psst, Shawn. Her name's just Emma."Hailey pointed out.

Shawn nodded his head and took a deep breathe."Oops, sorry. Hi there just Emma."

Emma laughed once more."No, no. It's Emma."

He whacked himself in the head."Again, sorry. Hi there Emma."

Hailey and her gave him a two thumbs up and he sighed in relief. From that day on, the three had become the very best of friends.

2008
{Troublemakers}
"Let's go people."Emma shouted as they went behind the bushes.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Em?"asked Shawn, nervously.

Emma face palmed herself."No Shawn, that's why we're going to do it, duh."

"Oo, how I love it when my best friend gets all fired up."said Hailey and Emma laughed. The three took out the water balloons and the slingshot.

"Who shall be our first victim?"asked Emma as she held up her slingshot with a water balloon in it. There were many targets to choose from.

"Oh, how about Chelsea?"asked Shawn as he smirked. Chelsea was the three's enemy but, Emma's worst one. Why? Because Chelsea would always tease and bully Emma. Shawn and Hailey heard about it and of course, they were furious about someone bullying their best friend.

Emma smirked and pulled the slingshot back. She closed one eye to aim at the she-devil. Fire!

The water balloon flew. Then, splash! It had hit Chelsea and made her all wet. Then, she well, screamed.

"Run!"Shawn shouted as the three ran away from the bush.

The three ran and laughed. But, it all back fired when Chelsea had told Emma's parents which lead the three to get grounded for a week.

Emma huffed in annoyance and gave Hailey a nudge."Shut up."
