A few mind - numbingly boring hours later, Jack was jolted from his restful sleep when a voice, presumably the pilot's, sounded through the plane's overhead speakers.
"We will be landing in Los Angeles International Airport in about twenty minutes; please return your seats to the upright position and get ready for landing."
While rejuvenated, the green - haired YouTuber felt a small rush of fear go through him as he heard the announcement; he loathed flying, especially takeoff and landing. Whatever. He'd live. Jack fixed his seat and then instinctively grabbed his phone before looking out the window, down at the magnificent city of Los Angeles. It was midday — Jack was actually not that tired due to the fact that he was great at adjusting to time zones; he traveled all the time. Common knowledge really.
The sun shone down on the shining city, glass and metallic surfaces reflecting the bright light in all directions. The buildings twinkled and shone, and Jack yearned to be down on the ground with his friends so badly it felt like an almost physical pull.
The plane floor tilted beneath him and Jack's hands darted out to grasp the armrests tightly — it was an instinctive nervous tic he had. He was so close.

The instant the plane's wheels made contact with the ground — the Los Angeles ground, Jack added in his head — Jack's phone was on. He had arranged for an international plan ages ago, so when he turned on his cellular data, messages started flooding in by the dozen; his phone started up a continuous vibration and ding! cycle and a lady sitting beside him cast a curious glance at the device. Jack sheepishly shrugged at her before skimming a few of the messages.
At 12:30:05 pm, June 21st, user svptiplier said: "@Jack_Septic_Eye is in Los Angeles right now!!!"

The green - haired Irishman smiled slightly and favorited a few of the posts before opening Mark's texts.

His smile growing, Jack quickly tapped out a reply before getting up to get his suitcase from the overhead container.
