Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Chapter Five

"Mr Brennan your room is the penthouse?" The little red head boy squeaked at the reception desk.

"Yes it is." Alucard said calmly I was still surprised to how different he looked in a suit and his hair not wildly floating everywhere.

"And is this your wife?" He asked looking at me.

"Yes." Alucard said. I could feel his mockingness in his voice.

"You are all checked in so you can go..." I turned to see the men bring in Alucard's and Seras's coffin.

"The hotel cannot be responsible for such personal luggage if I just go get my manage..." The boy said.

"It's fine." Alucard said.

"But..."

"It is fine." He repeated he looked at the boy and his eyes glowed.

"Everything is fine." The boy said lile he wasn't even knowing what he want speaking. Mind control.

"Good." Alucard began walking off and I walked next to him.

I was enjoying his different look.

We went up the elevator to the top floor it opened to a long hallway which led to large doors.

We the entered into the penthouse it was huge. I walked around checking it out. Then I walked into the bedroom.

The bed was huge and we didn't have to do anything until tomorrow night so I had a while to myself. I took my shoes on and sat them on the floornat the end of the bed.

I layed down in the middle of the bed and it was so comfy. I closed my eyes. I heard complaining from Pip about how our room was alot better then his. I smiled to myself then after some movement the door shut. Alucard's footsteps sounded as if they were headed toward here.

I opened one eye and saw him enter the room before closing it again.

I felt his presence beside the bed and I turn on my side facing away from him a slight smirk on my face.

Nothing happened I looked over and he was gone when I turned back he was leaning over me which gave me a slight surprise but I should of expected that from him.

He leaned down with a smirk on his face and kissed me. "Mine." He whispered in my ear before kissing down my neck. I blushed.

"You are so warm. I can smell the blood rushing through your vains." He said inhaling my scent then lying next to me.

He looked into my eyes. "You are so beautiful Rahzel." He said kissing my forehead and bring me into his arms. "I can also feel how tired you are. Now go to sleep." I looked at him unamused however he was correct and his words were soothing which did seem to work and my eyes closed and I fell asleep.

I woke to the sound of Helicopters and Alucard peering outsode the window.

"What is hapening?" I asked sitting up and putting my shoes on. I looked out behind him and saw a crowd of people around the front of the building. Alucard walked out of the room and towards Seras's coffin.

When she woke up and Alucard tpld her about the excitementshe ran to the window and pressed her face up against the glass.

I stayed out of sight from the lights of the helicopter. I continued to observe the situation then I saw group of men entering the hotel. A swat team.

"Dammit." I walked into the living room.

"There are people after us we should have some sort of plan."

"Seras get in cupboard." Alucard instructed immediately.

"Ah... yes master." She said before getting up to the cupboard. I didn't know what he was up to but I helped her in and shut the doors.

"I want you out of site aswell." He looked at me.

"I can protect myself." I looked at him angrily. "...But I will go along with your plan." I walked into the bedroom and turned and looked at him. "Have fun." I smirked before shutting the door.

It was quiet for awhile then I heard the door begin to open. Then came all the gunshots and screaming. I even heard the blood splatter. When alot of the commotion ended I listened to a man whimpered before a gunshot.

When it was completely quiet I heard the door from the cupboard open and Seras jump out. I opened the door to the room and walked out.

"Master."

"Seras prepare for battle." Alucard said

"Ah But.." She stuttered.

"Is there a problem? Do as you're told" He sounded angry.

"These people. These are human."

"Your point?" He didn't care about them.

"They are human beings!" She yelled.

"I don't care what these things are they came here to try and kill us. It no longer matters what they are. Now they must die. They'll be slaughtered. Left in there graves to rot. This is just the way it is. This is what has to be done. No one can stop this. Not god, the devil or you!" He snapped.

"I know." She said. "It's just..."

"It is just the way." His voice was low.

I walked over to the hotels phone and inspected it. "It still work they haven't cut the line." I said turning to Alucard. "Integra would have orders for you."
