Chapter 5
Andromedea
Ok, this wasn't good. I think that I just found a new power. In public. Rachel was up in the air and someone was screaming. Not my best move. I need to find an excuse, and fast.
“It's just a magic trick, see?" I said as she lowered to the ground. Now this might come in handy. I turned around and walked away as nonchalantly as possible, but really I was excited. Telekinesis! I had telekinesis! My life just got a whole lot better. Rachel was still paralyzed from shock. I smirked. Serves her right. As the richest kid in the orphanage, she was also the the most spoiled and pampered, and acted like she owned the place. Great. People were gathering around her. Now I would be even more of a freak, and I already had enough attention. I wish I could find that boy again. At least he seemed decent, unlike most people here. I could kind of sense it, that he was special. I needed to talk to him again. After I escaped the crowd.

I sat in the library, trying to read a book. I hadn't been able to find the boy, and was getting very annoyed. I had searched for a few hours, but he was nowhere to be found. I put the book down. I couldn't concentrate on it at all. I decided to go for a swim instead. If no one else was there, of course. I walked down to the pool, and saw Ned and his posse poking something in the water. I figured they were tormenting some poor bird that fell in. I walked down to them.
“Hey! What are you d-" I stopped. The boy was limp in the water. “What did you do?!" I yelled, outraged. “You are in so much trouble!" Ned backed away, pulsing fear like crazy.
“It weren’t me! Honest! We all found him like this!” Ned obviously has some, lets say educational, problems.
“Well don't, don't just stand there! Go get help!" I needed them away while I figured out what to do. I had to save him, if he was even still alive. They ran to get help. Think Andromedea, think! I thought to myself. My telekinesis! This would be the perfect time to use it! I concentrated. He started to slowly rise out of the water. I tried harder. He rose faster. I really hoped he was still unconscious. He was finally out and on the ground. I ran over to him, hoping he was still alive. I couldn't believe that Ned hadn't gotten somebody, as evil as he was. He probably fled the scene. Wanted it to be MY fault, the stingy bliksem. I got to him. He was still breathing, thankfully. But he was also completely dry. And awake. And freaking out. As was I.
