-Sam POV-
*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*
Ugh. There goes my alarm I thought to myself silently. I began pounding on my newly decorated nightstand made of metal and wood.
"Great combination!" I thought to myself, or so i thought. My brother Caden walked into my room and sat on my floor infront of me.
"Morning Sunsh-eww" He said a little to dramatic.
"What? is it my hair? He always used to tease me about my hair. I never cared but I brought it up for old times sake.
"What? No! You should go take a look in the mirror." He stated with a wash of confusion in his tone.
I slowly pushed myself from the bed and began walking towards my new bathroom next to my closet. I turned the door slowly only to be greeted with a giant bucket of grape powerade dumped on top of me. "Asshole" I thought to my self. If you didn't realize it already, I don't say swear words I just mentally say them since the last time i cursed was from the accident.
I turned around as I heard my brother chuckling behind me.
"You butthole! Get out!" I screamed! I can't stand him sometimes! Whatever. I'll get over it.Ping
I heard my phone vibrate from back on my nightstand. I turned around to get a text from my mother.
Mom : Hey Sam, could you run next door and introduce yourself to our neighbors, I might not be able to give you a ride and it's really important if you would ask -Mom<3
I sent her a quick text of "k."
And with that I hopped in the shower and got ready. (A/N Her outfit and makeup)
I Practically ran upstairs the apartment after throwing a quick bye to Jess and Caden.
I casually knocked on the door hoping that someone would be either still home or awake. See, the problem is, Im a freshman so i cant drive. Also my brother that's a senior? Yeah he doesnt have a car. He sold it to pay rent in the old house. When it all happened....I shook my head to clear my thoughts to find a kid about my age, Walking out of the door.
"Uhm....Hey...Who are you..?" He asked in pieces. Okay then. Obviously was not expecting a visitor in the middle of the summer from some random girl..Whatever.
"Hey. Im Sam. So uhm. Yeah. I moved here 3 days ago and My mom wanted me to introduce myself and ask you guys if someone could take me-" he cut me off.
"Yeah Uhh...Hi I'm Aiden, Yeah uhh, I cant give you a ride. I don't have my licence."
"Okay...Do you have like your Mom or Dad home?" He flinched when i said Mom and balled his hand into a fist as i mentioned father. Weird kid. I dont judge though I have family issues.
"Uhm. Okay Im just gonna go then--" Suddenly my eyes fixated on his 3 cuts on each wrist and fairly sized cut on his left shoulder. I guess he noticed because he turned to the left a little and tucked his hands in his pockets. I didn't want to pry so I left it. Not my business. I nodded showing that its okay and left with a weak smile and short wave.
I had to go home anyways. I had to go to my depression group in an hour. My past still gives me depression and its not gonna go away without some help.
