Maddie's POV
—
"What..." I was woken up by my sister Mackenzie. I call her Kenzie, technically everyone does. I look towards my bedside drawer.
"Omg! Why didn't you wake me up earlier ?" I screamed at my sister as it was 9.17 pm. Kenzie and I signed up for a 5-day camp along with Kalani and Chloe at Woodhill forest. I get out of my bed immediately and changed into my out fit.
After, I got ready for the 2 hour ride to Woodhill forest, I got in the car with Kenzie and went to pick up Kalani and Chloe. Then we headed to the meeting area with the other people who signed up for the camp. I took no more than 15 minutes to get there as it was near our dance studio. When we arrived, the place was packed with people and the buses had arrived to pick us up. We said a goodbye to our mom and headed to our respective bus. I immediately took my seat beside Chloe and dozed off.
"Oh No! Please don't!" I awoke from my nightmare. "Maddie , are you alright? Nightmare?" Chloe asked . Creases formed on her forehead and she showed signs of concern. I nodded in response , she comforted me and asked me what it was about. That's Chloe. She's always curious.
"It was really scary. I pictured myself in a room or cabin... I don't know. But there was something pulling my feet. It started stabbing my feet with a sharp knife and that's when I woke up" I whispered. As Chloe comforted me once again, I see a strange figure in the woods. It was holding something. Something from my nightmare...
