Chapter 1
"Move!" I hear a voice call sharply.
"Sorry," I mumble stepping out of their way.
I turn to see who it was and I see Charlotte and her gang. It's made up with her so called 'hot' boyfriend, Eliot Brown, her drones, the twins, Stacey and Tracey Anderson and finally, Eliot's, idiot jock friends that probably don't know how to count past ten.
"Ignore her!" One of my best friends, Megan Ross encourages me confidently. I look at her through my thick, black glasses.
"Yeah! She's probably just jealous that she doesn't have an amazing friend like me." My other best friend, Jordan Waters, grins widely.
I hit him playfully and sigh, "I wish I could at least talk to Eliot!"
I push up my glasses and grab my lunch out of my bag.
"I could make that possible." Megan says seriously.
"You could?!" I practically shout, grabbing her arms and shaking her from side to side. "Why didn't you bring this up earlier?"
"Calm down!" she says shakily once I stop shaking her and she regains balance.
I exhale loudly, close my eyes and whisper, "I'm calm."
She giggles, "All you need is a makeover!"
"A-a-a m-makeover?" I stutter, unsure of wanting to go through with this anymore. "W-will it include w-w-w-waxing?"
She giggles more loudly, "Only if you want it to."
"I'll leave you two alone." Jordan mutters, turning to walk off.
"Not so fast!" Megan cries, sheriff-like, grasping Jordan's arm. "You'll have to be there to tell us what she looks like after."
"Crap!" he growls, tuning to face us again. "When and where?" he asks sighing.
"Now." She shocks me.
"Now? We have school, now!" I protest, a look of surprise growing on my face.
"Well we'll just have to skip school won't we?" She shocks me even more than I could ever expect.
I'm one of those avery goody two shoes. I've never missed a day of school in my whole life! I can't do it now...can I?
"Come on," she goes on, "grab your stuff and we'll go right now."
"But-" I try to protest, but there is no use.
Once Megan knows what she wants, there's no stopping her. She grabs both mine and Jordan's hands and we run towards the school gates.
"I don't know abo-"
Megan abruptly shushes me, immediately cutting me off.
Megan shoves open the door to her house and practically throws me onto a chair.
"Jordan, you go into the lounge room and watch TV until we're ready. I'll call you."
He walks away eagerly, probably gla e doesn't have to watch beget tortured by Megan and her murderous make up weapons.
