<<<MERIDA'S POV>>>

Elsa should be here by now. Where on earth could she be? I have decorated everything myself. I don't mind that, but Elsa has seriously worried me...I'm going to send another text.

'Els, are you okay? You should have been here an hour ago!' - Merida

'Elsa. You're scaring me, please answer!' - Merida

'If you are busy, I understand! But please just send a message to say that it's just that and you are okay! Please!' - Merida

Looking at the few that I sent earlier, I don't send another text. I don't want to bug her, if she really is busy. I'm just worried though! She would normally reply within five minutes of each text. This isn't like Elsa! I will wait for her at the party, if she doesn't turn up. I'm grabbing my pistol and combat knife to look for her.

The party starts in one hour, if she isn't here by the party I know something is up. Elsa is never late to anything! No matter how minor or major these events are. I don't want to worry Anna or Punzie.

"Hey, Meri! Am I too early?"

I clapped happily. I know that voice all too well, I jumped him in a big cuddly bear hug.

"Tadashi!" I exclaimed happily.

"I have a surprise plus one too." Tadashi whistles innocently.

I raised my brow. Tadashi went behind me and blindfolded me. I'm not scared one bit, I trust him with my life. He saved me from a fire eleven years ago.

*Eleven years ago*

"Get that nightmare!" A security guard wailed.

I ran through the building as fast as I could. I'm in Callaghan University, I had to get a science project to steal and it didn't go to plan...I stole a micro-bot luckily, Drago won't beat me. A micro bot is a very advanced piece of technology made by Professor Callaghan, some man in a hockey mask wanted one to create more to make an army of them.

I ran through a warehouse and saw a pallet standing up and threw it down and I heard the security guards fall. Yes! I ran around so many corners and walls. I sniffed and I could smell...gasoline? I came to a dead end, which wasn't good. From the roof, a match feel to the floor and the floor went up in flames.

"Oh God." I said panicked.

This is how I'm going to die, isn't it? At least, I will be out of that horrible gang of low life thugs, I guess. I can be with them again...my parents, Elinor DunBroch and Fergus DunBroch. I changed out of my Nightmare outfit and into some normal clothes. What? I would rather die in decent clothes, plus people would know who I really am. I might expose Punzie! I kept the bag on and curled up into a ball on the floor. This was my first major heist. I did small heist not these huge responsibility ones.

"I'm sorry, Mum...I'm sorry, Dad...I couldn't stay strong, I failed you. Now, I will be joining you in peace. I'm coming..." I whispered with tears in my eyes.

Closing my eyes, just waiting for death. I felt something or someone scope me up and run to safety. I didn't have the energy to open my eyes or care. I was softly placed on the floor, I think it was grass. My eyelids stayed shut, but somehow tears still flowed down my face.

"Tadashi, are you absolutely insane?!"

"Shut up, I had to go in!"

"You didn't have to, you didn't get anyone!"
