Dreams

Chapter 3

After breakfast, I went back upstairs to my room to get ready. I put on a black tank-top and black shorts. After getting my clothes on, I went to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth. Once I finished I raced back down stairs and met up with my dad outside who already in the car. We left my house and made our way to Chapters. It was one of my favourite bookstore since it had a lot of manga.

We parked the car and went in. I choose the books I wanted and we left. While in the car I went into the bag to start reading but my dad grabbed the book out of my hand and put it back in the bag.

"Hey, I was going to read that!"

"Those are your birthday present so you can't look at them until tomorrow."

"I guess you're right." I said quietly and he smiled. I noticed that we weren't going the right way to my house so I asked my dad where we were going.

"It's a surprise." He spoke. We drove and drove it felt long but we were still in town.

Finally we made it to a park. But this park is a park that I used to come a lot to. It was my favourite park when I was younger but I didn't go to it as much as I did when I was little because of high school. I was happy that we were here.

We got out of the car and made our way to the swings. We sat on them and started to swing. My dad was smiling at me and then started to speak.

"I remember pushing you on these swings when you were younger. You also got mad at me for doing so because you wanted to swing by yourself even though you couldn't." Him and I laughed and then he spoke again.

"You used to be so cute back then, I wonder what happen." He joked.

"Hey I'm still cute."

"Yeah I know and you will forever be my little girl, even if you are turning 15."

"Yeah." I looked down at my feet. I wish that I could remember more of my childhood. Just as I started to think I got burnt.

"Oww." My arms and shoulders and legs started to go red.

"Your burning. Let's get you home." My dad said worriedly.

And that is what we did before the burning got worse but it still did hurt a lot.

We finally made it home so I was happy about that. My mom brought me to the bathroom and she put a special cream that she uses when this happens. She rubbed it on my shoulders, my arms and my legs.

"Are you ok? Does it still hurt?" She ask once she finished putting on the cream.

"I'm better now than before."

"Ok, you can lay on the couch for now. Me and your father have to get your birthday cake so take it easy while we're gone."

"Ok."

I went and laid down on the couch. My parents had left and I was all alone. I yawned and turned on the tv and after a few minutes of watching tv, I passed out.

"So then, out with it. Tells us the plan."

The woman slapped the man across the face.

"Hold your tongue,remember who you are talking to."

"Sorry." The man said quietly.

"So the plan?" The other man asked.

"Yes, now we know that her birthday is tomorrow, yes?" The men nodded their heads. "She should be around the age of 14 or 15."

"Why are you telling us stuff we already know?" The man asked. The woman slapped him once more.

"You fool. Let me finish. She has gone too many years without drinking blood. Her vampire side may be at rest but it soon will awaken. We will track down if there is any blood splatter in different areas and then we will find her."

"Good plan."

"Yes I do agree."

"Now tell the rest and get people on the move immediately."

"Yes." The two men left the room and the woman wearing the long coat walked over to the window and spoke.

"Soon, my young lady, we will find you and you will be in your right place with me at your side."
