There was once a wolf who went by the name, Envy. She had grey and tan fur and gray eyes. Gray eyes are an extreme rarity, which made her special. Envy was the leader of the Dark Snow pack. She had lived alone and her father and teacher, Edward, was alpha but he and her mother, Azra, were gone and Envy never wanted to think of them again. She had made a pact with herself to never think or speak of them again and when she became alpha, when she had enough experience, she made it punishable by death to speak of them or to even speak their names. The pack agreed to Envy's rules because they are permanent; and she is lethal. One day, on a hunt, Envy and the pack were coming back to their territory and heard their enemies lurking behind them; so they all ran in a panic. Envy was pushed in a different direction right into a tree. Envy had been knocked out cold. The forest was quiet as poor Envy had been left behind. She was barely breathing. Three days had passed, and she had been left and forgotten. The pack had a rule that if one was left behind, you must forget them and move on to a new area and a new life so that no one was too attached. There was a chill in the air that night and all you could hear or even think about was the howling of wolves.
