By the fifth day of what seemed to be an endless sleep, Envy began to wake. Her paws had turned white along with the tip of her tail and her ears. Envy was astonished by the beautiful frost-like fur and how, in the middle of a hot summer, the little tree she had been under was covered in snow, but no other trees were. Slowly, then all at once, she felt like all her fur was being pulled out one piece at a time as she changed completely to an all white wolf. That had never happened before and it was never recorded. Envy, in a gust of whimpering desperation, began running in circles and she could only stop after her world went dark. She fell as her eyes quickly transformed into a sea of black angered ocean trying to pull everything under her crashing waves. She stood up and was filled with determination and with a new demeanor. She stood stronger, prouder, like she had just won a war. Except this would be a war in her subconscious for survival while she was holding on to her life and sanity in the coma, and a sleep worse than death. Envy transformed into the picture of what everyone wants her to be and what they want to become as well. She was unstoppable to others opinions. She tried to find her pack and she had been looking too close for she had forgotten that she was a lost soul. All lost souls are left to either live or die due to natural selection. Even though she had been abandoned again, since she had been filled with even more determination now to find her pack and protect them from harm's way and danger. She did not know where to start or even go after them or when to leave for night had fallen fast as if the moon took over the sun and the clouds seeped into another starless sky since she had awoken. Envy was looking for somewhere safe to sleep but the safest place she had known was her territory. That had been long deserted by now. Every time an alpha wolf is lost, dead, or left to die the pack must appoint a new alpha wolf and continue deeper into the forest and to find a new territory. Envy had now made her way in a large circle back to the frosted, sparkling, and lonely tree.
