The sun shone through my blinds. It was bright and I felt like I was hung over. I didn't want to get up that morning after everything that had happened. I was trying to fall back asleep when I hear yelling. I walk down stairs to see my dad trying to get in the house but Matt wouldn't let him. That's when my dad breaks down and tells Matt everything. Matt was so upset. He fell on the floor and started balling. He didn't know my father killed our mom. He couldn't handle it. He ran up to his room and slammed his door. I heard load music turn on and a lot of screaming. I let my dad in and I fixed coffee. We talked all morning. It felt like I had known him my whole life. All my worries went away. I heard the music shut off and a door open. I looked behind me to see Matt standing there with tears running down his face. I got up and hugged him. When I was done hugging him I made him a cup of coffee. His eyes were swollen from crying. I got him a warm towel and pulled the couch out into a bed for him to lay on and put his favorite show on. I felt bad for him. He was really close with our dad before he left. They were best friends. He was 10 when our dad left. He was so upset. My dad just sat at the table starring at Matt. I could tell he was sorry for leaving. I just left them there and went to my room, I picked out an outfit and went to school. I couldn't wait to see Peter for some odd reason.
