"Dammit! I'm too late!" I cried.
I scrolled through the popular page looking for something, anything that would lead me to the account. Finally, I saw a picture from the account. A picture of us on the beach.

"I'm 99.9% sure that's a shark." Emma peered through the binoculars into the ocean.
"Gimme those!" Maddy snatched the binoculars away and looked through them. "It's a bird, for God's sake!"
"In fairness, everything looks like a shark to Emma." I pointed out, earning me a glare from Maddy.
"Guys, come swim!" Alissa called.
"Yeah! The water's gorgeous!" Cassie added.
"Yeah. No thanks." Kyren laid down to tan.
I dipped my toe in the water. "It is gorgeous! Like me!" I ran in further and giggled.
Emma took another look in the binoculars. "Ok, now that's definitely a shark."

The account was now called @ alissa.beauty . I quickly pulled up my DMs and started a message.

Alissa! don't delete the pictures!

what happened to you guys? not friends anymore?

alissa.beauty: high school is what happened. Cassie went to some performing arts school outside of East Hartford, Kyren and I went to the catholic school and Maddy and Emma went to public school
