"I don't believe it, this whole time and you didn't even tell me! Ugh." Adeline kept repeating this over and over again as they walked down the road towards the theater, which thank god was about a mile away from Elizabeth's place, she was seriously angry at Elizabeth. Like come on aren't you supposed to tell you're best friend forever everything?

"Well are you happy now you know it was to dangerous to tell you right away just chill already, jeez."

"But like how do you get you're powers, I don't see a ring," Adeline asked while she glanced at her blue chucks while walking down the road. She was absolutely obsessed with them.

"Well that's because mine is my underwear," Elizabeth replied keeping a straight face adeline laughed. At least elizabeth knew how to keep her mind off things.. Why are you laughing right now you're family is in danger!

"Come on seriously tell me though." Adeline looked out at the almost endless road, the sun hot on her back.

"Alright here," Elizabeth grabbed at a chain from her neck Adeline had never seen it before. It was a glowing dark blue/green mixed gem.

"Wow." Adeline gaped "what is it?"

"It's hard to explain," Elizabeth searched around in her bag for something and she pulled out a thick blue book with a symbol on it, it was a diamond with an eye inside it. "Read page 123" Adeline opened it and read.
"The name Aquamarine comes from the Latin aqua marinus, meaning "water of the sea," and refers to its sparkling ocean-like color. The pale blue, transparent crystal is a member of the Beryl family. Its color, sometimes bluish green, is caused by iron oxides within the chemical makeup of the stone. Ancient seer considered it to be under the influence of the moon, an orb exerting very great magnetic influence. Present day supporters of crystal-gazing suggest that when using an Aquamarine to view coming events, do so when the moon is increasing. The magnetism of the moon on the included iron oxides will strengthen the stone's forecasting ability."

Adeline gaped "so basically I make you stronger when you're with me?" She didn't know her magic was powerful enough to make someone else stronger..

"Exactly, hints why you're family and my family are so close. You guys are basically the head of magic.

Head of magic Adeline thought.. she glanced up the long road thinking, she could see the town coming into view. Small houses and a little gas station with its roof caved slightly inwards. Ugh. People need to take more care of things. Adeline absolutely hated when people did this kind of stuff.

"What's that?" Adeline asked gazing at the beautiful purple flower in the grass, forgetting whatever she was thinking about she walked towards it reaching out her hand slowly to grasp it. Her ring gleaming brightly, the flower was so tempting she had to touch it. Something in the back of her head told her this was off but she just couldn't not touch the flower. Just one touch..

"Adeline no!" Elizabeth tackled her from behind.

"Gah!" Adeline stumbled, her hand missing the purple flower "what was that for?"

"Adeline that's wolfsbane! You cannot touch that it can hurt you, here read!" Elizabeth took off her backpack searched inside and gave her a thick leatherbound book with a symbol on it, sometimes adeline wished she had a less nerder friend, that didnt vring like a thousand books with her but hey at least shes useful in times like these.

The symbol looked like the hand with an eye inside that she'd seen on her box with the ring inside it, and the Dimond and eye on Elizabeth's book except it was a wolf's paw.

"Page 384" Adeline opened it to the page Elizabeth suggested and read out loud.. "Wolfsbane has been ascribed with supernatural powers in the mythology relating to the werewolf and similar creatures, either to repel them, relating to wolfsbane's use in poisoning wolves and other animals, or in some way induce their transformation, as wolfsbane was often an important ingredient in witches' magic ointments. In folklore, wolfsbane was also said to make a person into a werewolf if it is worn, smelled, or eaten. They are also said to kill werewolves if they wear, smell, or eat aconite."

On the next page displayed a purple flower that looked just like the one she'd almost touched. Oops.

"Ohh...." Adeline tried to swallow the lump that was in her throat but it wouldn't go down.

Elizabeth sat in the grass next to her and rubbed Adeline's shoulder as she gazed at the deadly purple flower. "It's alright," she spoke softly.

Adeline felt a tear run down her cheek slowly next thing she knew they were rushing down her cheeks and her head was on Elizabeth's shoulder. "I can't do this," she cried.

"Hey, no its okay look were almost there you gotta pull it together girl and do this for you're family. You got this, I haven't met a single person that has the strength that you do. Trust me. Now would you let me try something real quick?"

Adeline nodded while wiping some tears off her cheek. Elizabeth slowly put her hands against Adeline's back and whispered under her breath, suddenly adeline got a surge of courage and confidence her fears washed away and her mind cleared itself.

"Thank you," Adeline told her as she stood up. "Come on we got some bad guys we need to find.
