Chapter 3

Marcy's POV

I knew I was growing on him. I'd met Finn a week ago and we had become fast friends. Though, thanks I his sunshiny self, I had kind of lost my meanness. But he was so funny. I was with him like all the time. Gah! I'm losing my mojo to my only friend. But anyway.

Finn and I were chilling in first period in our usual corner when Bonibell Bubble comes in. I knew Finn had a huge crush on that brain lord. I don't know what he sees in her. She is way to perfect for it to be natural. Her red hair hangs ruler-straight down her back, not a split end or a hair out of place. Her knee length blue dress and pink hoodie don't have a single wrinkle in them. Her papers are in perfect order and her hot pink heels are as pristine as new shoes. God how I hate her. She sits in the row in front of us. After arranging her papers neatly, she turns towards us. "Hey Finn." She purrs, "Why are you hanging out with this b with an itch?" Finn's face turns red with anger. "Bonibell, leave Marcy alone. It's her job to be bitchy and I take it. I like her the way she is and that's that." Finn rages at her. Both of our faces are filled with shock. Mine because he admitted he cared about me and her's because he got angry at her for being extremely rude to me. Bonibell grabbed her papers and marched to the front row. I leaned into Finn. "Thanks for telling her off." I murmured I to his chest. "No prob Marcy, any time." He said, stroking my hair. I was beginning to like him more than friends. And it scared me to think what could happen if he didn't feel the same way.

Finn's POV

Oh dear Glob! I was starting to like Marcy. And I mean a lot. I still can't believe I yelled at Bonibell. But Glob was she being a complete and utter bitch! I looked down at Marcy, snuggled up in my chest. I gently wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head. I felt her face get warm. She just stayed there, in that exact position, for the rest of class.
