Since I had no classes today , I decided to do some shopping today . I got in the shower and did my thing . Once I got out I put my clothes on, did my hair into a fishtail braid and put little to no makeup . I don't really like makeup . I checked my phone for any messages , I got a message from an unknown number

Hi Rosana Its Chris
~ Unknown

I immediately saved his number to my phone . I called him to see if he had time to meet up with me for the project

“ Hello ”

“ Hey Chris , what time would be good for us to meet up for the project ”

“ 1:00 would be good ”

“ Okay , Bye Chris ”

“ Bye Rosana ”

I hung up the phone and went to the kitchen Marley and Lenala were sitting at the table

“ Hey Rosie ” Lenala said while stuffing hot cheetos in her mouth

“ I know them ain't my cheetos I bought yesterday ” I said while sighing Lenala was always eating my snacks

“ Yep they're yours ”

“ Okay now you gonna buy me some more cheetos ”

“ Nah , I'll give you the bag ”

I stale faced her and grabbed a banana , Marley was in deep thought about something

“ Marley what you thinking about ”

“ Life , my daugh...... my donut ”

I looked at her ,she was about to say daughter .

“ Marley were you about to say daughter ”

“ Noooooo” after that I knew she was lying .

“  Do You have a daughter Marley ”

“ I SAID NO DAMN YOU HEARING SHIT ” she said storming off .  I walked up to her room to check on her . I walked in her room she was crying while holding a picture of a little girl that probably was her daughter .

“ I'm sorry Marley ” I said sitting next to her . She didn't respond

“ Why didn't you tell us that you had a daughter ”

“ I didn't want you guys to think of me as a whore ”

“ Marley Lilian Reese , Why would we judge you we are your best fucking friends . None of us are perfect , Marley why would you think that ”

“ B-beacause I got pregnant at fifteen ”

“ I don't give a damn , Marley we are all imperfect none of us are perfect not even myself Rosana Ali Jordan ”

“ I love you Rosie ”

“ I love you too Marley ”

“ How old is she and what's her name ”

“ Her name is Kaia and she's about to turn six ”

“ Awe why don't you bring her down here ”

“ Actually I've been thinking about moving out and bringing Kaia to live with me ”

“ okay , you wanna go shopping ”.

“ Nah not today ”

“ Okay you want me to get you anything ”

“ Yeah , can you get me some ice cream ”
