it a little... it's gonna be jumping from chapter 1 - Mrs Lovett, to chapter 2 - Sweeney Todd etc etc... Hope you like it!! 🎬

CHAPTER 1

Mrs Lovett

Oh. Oh what dreadful days lay ahead. My beautiful employer, Mr Barker of course, has been in a tragic accident. As Miss Lucy describes it. But Miss Lucy doesn't deserve Mr Barkers attention. He deserves a wife who can look after him, feed him at least. Like me. All she is is a pretty face. But me. I'm not just a pretty face, at least I can cook. The best pies in London. As Mr Barker says. But oh Miss Lucy is a demon. She caused Benjamin' misfortune. If not for her, That dreadful judge would not have took him away. In my opinion, which doesn't apply to anyone, London is breaking down. No one to shave the faces of these clueless but hairy men. All this fuss over one pretty little thing. In some ways I feel for her, poor baby Johanna. An unstable mother who, undoubtably, couldn't handle her love. Personally I reckon she let that dreadful judge have a little peck on the cheek and he fell hard. Just like I did for Mr Barker. I know deep down he had a love for me too, he used to tip me and say 'Oh Mrs Lovett, your pies are like heaven on earth, I'm telling you'. What he meant was I was heaven on earth. But you see, he got a little silly with Miss Lucy and got her with-child. It could have been me. But Lucy clearly forced herself upon my poor thing. It makes me sick that I have to pretend to like her. I do it for Benjamin' sake of course. If it were up to me I'd never talk to her again. Not look at her. I could carry out these actions. But Mr Barker could be back any minute and if I'm seen misusing his razors, oh there would be hell to pay. So for the moment I have to be kind for the sake of my dear lover. It will be hard I'm sure. But I'll be strong for my dear Benjamin. Just like he will be for me.
