Chapter 2
Benjamin Barker (Mr Todd)
What in hells name does that judge think he is doing. I'm his personal barber, as well as the Beadles. Ha. He want my Lucy. He does I know it. It's sad, really. She'll never marry him. For poor Johanna' sake, and she loves me far too much to ever leave me for that pias vulture of the law. I don't know how long I'm going to be in this hellish piece of shit. But it's so much better then London.
Ah, London. It's a place of lies, death and blatant evil. I know that as soon as I'm back home, my baby girl Johanna will come running to me, almost knocking me over as she's filled with grief. And Lucy, my darling Lucy will be running too, only a little slower then little Johanna as she is a lot older then her. Ill run straight to Mrs Lovetts pie shop, just under my barber shop, and devour the beautiful, golden beauty faster then you can say "revenge".
The food I get fed here is dreadful, I'd say I've been stranded here, what? 3 months or so. Possibly. I'm just hoping I can see my family once again. Sit down with my pretty women and pale, yellow haired child next to the fire eating those luscious pies once again. Although it sounds dreadfully strange, I do miss ole Mrs Lovett, I do! Shes like a breath of fresh air, I've only had one argument with my dear Lucy. Of course I was under a lot of stress. But I knew almost instantly who to turn to. Although I don't think our sweet Nellie particularly likes Lucy very much. She always had a lot of fondness for little Johanna. Like a second mom to her she is. Lucy does try to enjoy the company of Nellie. But you could slice the tension with one of my friendly razors. I'm not sure what it'll take to be able to hold my razors again. But I'm sure ill be home in Lucy's arms sooner than later. I just have to try not to go insane in the meantime.
