Poor Suga didn't see it coming.

A fluffy red boy pummeled into him at full speed before he even had a chance to react.

Suga thankfully wasn't injured, but he was worried about Hinata who was strangely hugging him tightly and mumbling something that Suga couldn't hear.

Suga couldn't hear Hinata, but he could see Kageyama running towards them.

"Daichi?" Sugawara called softly, nodding towards Kageyama. Daichi nodded in understanding.

Suga looked down. "Hinata I can talk to you, but we need to go somewhere where there aren't any people. Would you mind getting up for a minute?"

Hinata shook his head and stood up. Sugawara smiled warmly and led Hinata to an empty classroom.

"Would you like to talk about it?" Sugawara said, taking a seat and patting the one next to him so that Hinata would sat.

Hinata sat down and nodded. Sugawara waited.

"I thought it would be easier to say."Hinata said, struggling with words.

"Hinata, you don't have to force yourself to tell me anything. I'll listen to what you have to say." Suga said, flashing another reassuring smile. Hinata took a deep breath.

Hinata told Sugawara that recently he noticed he felt different with Kageyama than with any other of his friends. He told him that he found a manga that had his same predicament. He told him how he realized he liked Kageyama. He told him everything, and Sugawara listened.

When Hinata finished, he realized he was breathing hard like he ran a marathon. Suga put a hand on his shoulder.

"Hinata, I know how you are feeling."

Hinata looked up, doubtful. Suga laughed.

"I felt that same way when I realized I liked Daichi."
Hinata gasped and let out a strange sound. "Oh." He forced out.

The smile that Suga only gives Daichi. The way their knuckles brush without either of them pulling back. How close they lean together on the bus. The hugs they share before parting-how did Hinata miss it.

Man, Hinata was a dumbass.

"You should tell him how you feel, Hinata." Sugawara said. Hinata nodded, sulking.

"But Kageyama doesn't seem..gay."Hinata said the word like it was fire on his tongue. "Even if he was, he wouldn't like me. He treats me different from everyone else-it's clear he hates me."

Suga just shook his head.

"Hinata-you really haven't noticed?"

Hinata shook his head. "Noticed what?"

"The way Kageyama looks at you. Kageyama does things for you that he would never do for anyone else. The other day he bought you a meat bun! He wouldn't be caught dead doing that for anyone else. Hinata..he smiles. When you get cheer over a successful play, or make a mess of the food your eating. When you don't understand what the punch line is, or when you stand up to someone almost twice your size. He smiles, Hinata." Sugawara finished, and he couldn't help but giggle at the shocked expression on his kouhai's face.

"I.. I never knew.." Hinata said quietly. Sugawara nodded.
"Maybe I will..tell him?: Hinata whispered.

Sugawara stood up. Hinata gulped.

"I'll take my leave-" Sugawara said, already making his way to the door. Hinata yelped.

"Sugawara how? How do I do it? How do I..confess? How did you do it?"
