"Cynthia? Cynthia?" I clambered up the winding staircase as I started my hunt for dear Cynthia. From the moment the boys left the house, there wasn't one bit of noise and Cynthia hadn't ash downstairs in a bid to know what happened. The stair creaked but underneath all that noise, I could hear soft sobbing. Getting more worried, I banged open Cynthia's door without any warning and knelt by her side in one swift moment.

"Cynthia love, why are you crying?" I asked in a sweet tone and tried to placate Cynthia but Cynthia wouldn't even look at me in the eye. She just kept crying.

"Ashley, you are just going to leave me like the rest of the people. Just because I am a broken, weak girl. Just because I am not as famous as you. Just because I am not normal. Just because they are One Direction, you dumped me for them and decide to go touring with the. How could you, Ashley Elizabeth Adams! How could you!" Cynthia repeated countless of times as she stood up in a rage.

"Cynthia, listen to me. Please I..." I started to explain but Cynthia held out her hand for silence.

"There is nothing to explain Ashley. Please leave." Cynthia pointed to the door. Her voice was unbelievable cracked and broken.

"LEAVE THIS ROOM ASHLEY. GOD DAMN YOU!" Cynthia hurled a photo of both of us to the wall as she pointed a the door again. I walked swiftly to the door and took a side glance at the photo frame on the floor. It was just a mangled wreak. Nothing but metal.

"And never come back again..." I head Cynthia mumble as I closed the door behind myself. A loud sob erupted from the bedroom again as I trudged back to my own room and slammed the door as hard as I could. I fell onto the bed in anger and pounded the bed as hard as I could and as fiercely too. After that, I fell into a dreamless sleep, where I was no longer a celebrity, just a normal teenager.

Next Morning

The tune of What makes you Beautiful by One Direction jolted me up rudely from my deep slumber. I peered at my surroundings and sat up. I grasp my phone from my night stand, and opened the message that was blinking hard to get my attention.

From Cynthia

Ashley, you can go for the tour. After all, nobody cares about me. Not even you Ashley. Shame on you. Leave this house by this week. For now, I will go and stay in my other friend's house. You don't need to know where I am going. I hate you. I don't want to see you any longer Ashley. Nice Day.

My head was pounding as I swept through the words in her message. My nose became sour again and tears started cascading down my face. I had no choice but to go on tour. Cynthia was the one who paid for the rent of the house and I had no say in it. I went to my contact list and my finger hovered over the button of Harry's contact. Finally, I muster my courage and pressed it.

"Hello love." A deep exhausted voice sounded from the end of the line. It seemed to me that Harry had just awoken from his sleep.

"Harry! Sorry for waking you." I looked to my left and glanced at the clock.

"Although it is already 11 a.m. I am Ashley." I chuckled.

"Ash love! 11 a.m. is so early! What do you want from my sexy self?" Harry demanded and I giggled once again.

"Can you and the lads meet me at Starbucks at noon? I have something to discuss with you guys." I muttered.

"Sure Ash love. But you could have called Liam. He is always up early." Harry complained and whined.

"Harry love, I only have your number. How about you give me their number later on." I teased Harry by calling him love and I could hear him breathing deeply into the phone.

"No problem Ash love, meet you at Starbucks at noon." Harry ended the call and I sighed. It would definitely be difficult to live and learn without Cynthia by my side but I wasn't willing to face Cynthia yet. I tiptoed out of my room and crept to her room silently, expecting loud snores. I flung open her door only to see her bed nicely made and her books cleared from her table. I opened her cupboard only to see it empty. At the corner of my eye, I noticed a paper flutter to the floor. I snatched it up.

Ashley,

I knew you would search my room. I already told you I am residing at a friend's place for now. Please be out of the house by this week. I don't want to see anymore of you. I will move in again after this week.

Cynthia

I gasped and the paper fell out of my grasp. I made a mad scramble to my bedroom and rummage through my closet, pulling out a tight pink dress that reached till my knees. I applied makeup and eyeliner and grabbed at my handbag before speed walking towards my car, forcing open my car door. I made a speedy ride towards Starbucks and locked the car door before making my way in. Surprisingly, the boys were already waiting for me, their hoodies up and sipping coffee while waiting. I made a beeline for their table and finally, Harry looked up, signalling me to sit in an empty seat beside Louis.

"Hi guys. Sorry for waiting you up so early." I apologised sincerely and the boys shot me a wary smile.

"Its alright Ash love, what do you want to discuss?" Liam enquired politely. I jerked my head up and down and retrieved the contract that I supposed to sign with a pen.

"Guys, please pass the contract to Mr Cowell. I will sign the contract." I signed the contract swiftly and tossed it to Harry who caught it swiftly. The rest of the boys erupted into giggles and laughter at Harry's facial expression except for me. I bowed my head low as tears welled up in my eye.

"Love, what's the matter?" Louis placed his arm around my waist as he whispered softly into my ear. I shook my head.

"Guys, Ashley and I will be outside Starbucks. We have to talk." Louis informed the rest of the group and tugged my hand, pulling me away from the boys to outside Starbucks.

"Explain." Louis demanded and folded my arms and cocked his head upwards, waiting for me to speak.

"Its Cynthia. she eavesdropped on our conversation and found out that I decided to go on tour. She thought I was not a good friend and left her and she didn't want me to be her friend now." I mumbled as my sobs turned into wailing.

"Ashley. Listen. If Cynthia is a good friend, she would wish the best for you. She would not be so demanding. She would have faith in you that you still want to be her friend." Louis told me sternly and engulfed me into a hug. I cried into his shoulders and my tear flow lessened bit by bit.

"You alright now?" Louis asked me concerned. I nodded my head and managed to smile.

"Thank you boobear." I mumbled a thank you to Louis.

"My pleasure love." Louis led me back into Starbucks.

I couldn't help but feel I was falling hard for the boy... But to me, it was impossible that he liked me back...
