We are the Crystal Gems!

My name is Zircon. I come from home world. I am supposed to check up on the cluster. A get in. Get out kind of mission. No fooling around. I check my coordinates, it seems I'm currently flying over a place called "Beach City", how...creative. Suddenly I feel something hit the ship, three things are attacking it! I check the camera monitors. An Amethyst, a Garnet, and a Pearl! But I thought gems got wiped out on this planet years ago! We made sure of that! I made sure of that! I try to fly my ship out of there, but they manage to slap it into the sea. I slap my head on the roof as the ship goes tumbling down. "Ah damn it!" I hissed As it hits the ocean with a splash. My gem glows so I place it over my head, and watch as the pain slowly melts away, "that feels better," I mumble. I slowly crawl out of my ship to find it floating on the ocean. I sigh, I can still see the shore, so I should probably be heading there, however I don't want to be attacked again, but I don't see those other...gems...around.
I shape shift into one of those things circling above me, before returning to my normal self once I reach the shore. That's when I look up and see them. The Pearl and Amethyst appear to be arguing as the Garnet just stands there. That's when they look over and see me. They pull out there weapons, "Woah hold up don't hurt me!" I snapped at them. "You can't even hurt me, now that I'm paying attention!"
"Yeah right!" Amethyst snapped at me, before flying at me with her whip, every hit she aims at me, I block with my gem, "sorry Amethyst, but defense is where Zircon come in," I chuckle.
Of course while I was blocking Amethyst I hadn't noticed Pearl come up behind me. She went for me.
"Stop!" Someone cried.
"Steven!" They all cried.
"What are you guys doing?" He asked, then he saw me, "is that a corrupt gem?" He asked.
I chuckled, "I'm not a corrupt gem, I come from home world."
"Really?!" He asked me all excited.
"Sure thing." I nodded, this is where the warm welcome I was waiting for comes in!
"Steven! She could be dangerous!" Pearl replied glaring at me.
"Please! I didn't come here to hurt you, home world doesn't even think there are any gems left alive on this planet." I told them.
"And we would like to keep it that way!" Garnet snapped, pulling out one of her fists.
"Now hold up!" I snapped. "You damaged my ship pretty bad, you don't need too do anything, I can't really leave anytime soon unless you let me!"
"She has a point." Pearl replied.
"Yeah," Garnet agreed, "But someone has to keep an eye on her."
"I can do it." Amethyst volunteered.
"You sure?" Garnet asked her.
"Absolutely!" Amethyst agreed.
"Garnet can we trust Amethyst not to mess this up!" Pearl cried.
"Yes Pearl, I trust Amethyst with this responsibility." Garnet replied.
"Sweet thanks Garnet!" Amethyst cried wrapping her arm tightly around my neck, "we are going to be the best of friends right Z?"
"Um sure Amethyst," I replied not really understanding what she meant.
"Now come inside Steven, we have a surprise for you!" Garnet replied and we headed up to the house.
